Bitcoin blew through its most recent all-time high. The next stop is pushing through $3,000.00 - I see much higher prices moving forward. The fundamentals continue to support the currency's rise. There is no central bank diluting the crypto-currency's value. Instead, there is a set amount of coins, 21 million, and there never will be any more.
Issues with scaling have been addressed which will prevent a "hard fork" that has been threatened. Also, issues with withdrawals out of China's exchanges have been resolved. This was preventing widespread usage. Now that those issues are clearing, or out of the way, the coin is being purchased in large amounts.
