If you follow a conservative more "Natural" growthline for bitcoin, it should be valued at around 8000 usd today. Resent crash might indicate that this is where it is heading.
I've just seen it bounce off the 10k usd support on GDAX. Today is the futures settlement date on CME, so whales shorting bitcoin will make a lot of money on those contracts. Then buy BTC back on discount price and hodl for 2-3 months for another wave.
