As insane as 2017 was, I have drawn an even more insane probability.
Box 1......we already know, box 2 looks as unbelievable as box 1 but now we know the unbelievable is possible.
Box 1 and 2 are both approximately 6 months in length. Box 1 shows the incredible stair stepping rise from $8 to $420 (5,250% gain). We then had a 5 month very volatile consolidation period.
It looks as though we are starting another similar uptrend. Imagine if in 2018 we only go up 1/10th of 5,250% from $284 (525% x $284=$1491)
or 2/10th of 5,250% ($284 x 1050%=$2,982) or 3/10th of 5,250% ($284 x 1,575%=$4,473).
The shaded circles represent large up trends in price followed by temporary corrections or consolidation periods.
Please do not invest on this idea. This is only for those who have already invested at much lower prices and are wondering when to start taking profits. Investing at these levels is extremely dangerous unless you are a full time professional trader or are investing money you can afford to lose. This has become less of an investment and much more of a gamble/bet on a short term basis unless you truly are investing for the very long term (at least 1 to2 years).
PS - I used $284 as the latest low of the very long 5 month consolidation period. You could also use the $420 breakout if you choose. Either way I think that unless Bitcoin moves up well over $20,000 to $25,000 this year, Ethereum may in fact over take Bitcoin in market cap. Now that will be the really big news of 2018.
Prediction: 2017 was the year many of us first heard the term "Bitcoin millionaire", 2018 will be the year that you hear the phrase "Ethereum millionaire", and I can't wait to say it myself!!!
