This is a daily chart of ETP metaverse (tick: ETP). You can't find it on bittrex, but they have btc/etp pair at bitfinex.
Now let's get into the chart. -ETP bottomed out and reversed. Assuming we are at the start of an uptrend, we will eventually go above 50EMA (white line). This gives us a good buy opportunity since we are below the 50EMA still. -RSI supports upward movement. - MACD should turn bullish rather soon.
Entry: ~up to 21
Targets: (fib levels) - 34 - 48 - 60 - 70 - 88 - 105 - New all time high
Time frame: Higher targets may take 1-2 months to develop. This is a long term trade.

Basically all our trades were up a good amount before the btc rise (alt drop). That means those who were relentless in locking in profit was affected the least, because they are taking less risk.

Back in buy zone! I am now trading usd pair instead of btc because i still believe btc is in correction and i do not want to hold it. You can check my latest post on ETP for updates in the future. (Though it does not seem like many ppl are interested in ETP)
Question for you about locking in profits. On Bittrex, since we can't trade for USD, how do you lock in profit to avoid the alt dump. The last two dumps, I was literally watching it about to happen, thought to myself that I would really like to pull out right now, but just had nowhere to go to secure my profits. Then I watched the dump happen and my numbers dwindle. I held through it, so I survived, but I know that I would be far more profitable to get my $$$ out of the market at the top, then buy everything on sale after the dump. I think that's the one thing really holding my growth back at this point. Previously, when I would take profit and try to outrun the incoming dump, I would trade for BTC and then send to coinbase and trade for cash to fully sit on the sidelines. However, it takes so long for my money to transfer that I always missed it, got dumped, and had to hold in that scenario too. What are your thoughts on this?
