Please ignore the count if it does not fit what you have.!! Pay more attention to the corrective structure we are in now , which should break to the up side if it's a wedge. This correction could be a flat which means it could breakout sooner .

My short term long aims to tp at a retest of the highest weekly high.
Not sure about the count, but I do have a level and time for the top after this move accelerates up.

it looked like a symmetrical triangle formed in an uptrend not a wedge :)....Went long on both GBP/AUD+EUR/AUD, as AUD/JPY+AUD/USD was already indicating a downward trend....So, uptrend was 99.9% probability :)

Darling i made 600pips trading triangle pattern today :)....I bought GBP/JPY+GBP/AUD together before Asian session started, near the lows. Later i went to sleep, and guess what when i wake up i was 300pip profit in both trades :).....isn't it cool :). It works but sometimes will need to use a pending order near a support level where price dips and forms usually a hammer candle or an inside bar type candle :)

Why is a flat more likely to break out sooner than a wedge would break?

Hi ski4ever , A flat has 3 waves and a wedge 3 ,so any time you see a pattern looking like a triangle it could be a flat or a wedge in this cast it's a regular flat although I put it as a possible wedge ( I always do that to be warned of not jumping in too early)
