@whoisthelorax, possibly a 'sideways bear market' in BTCUSD. interestingly conventional belief of alts not going up vs USD if btc is bearish seem to be challenged by facts.
I'm holding a reduced basket of coins i done promising and trading smaller alts in a smaller portfolio aiming to outperform btcusd.
My reason for holding despite the risk of a bear market for 20 months is that size I gold the coins off exchange, these assets act as a hedge for middlemen...ie brokers.
If for some reason my brokers steal my money, I'm covered with the crypto $$ or physical assets.
