@cryposoulbutton, Hi, that's a good question. I prefer to TA in USD as it's stable and how coinmarketcap.com displays the price. In reality, the trade is in "pairs" as in Alt/BTC or Alt/ETH, Alt being alt coins (VTC, IOT, EOS, etc.). Using USD as oppose to BTC or ETH isn't much of a difference, as one can see candles, levels, and history with similar patterns.

@Richy007, sorry but I didn't understand .. you said you trade in USD .. so .. how do you buy altcoins ? with BTC or USD ? because if you buy with BTC and then you sell in USD and keep trading in USD, you loose BTC.

@cryposoulbutton, Yes, you're right. The confusion is "TA," stands for Technical Analysis. Should make sense now? Also, heard that keeping it in crypto, may be beneficial when it comes to taxes.
