i check candles like a voltage signal considering signal processing fundamental.
it helps me more and more than indicators and oscillators.
although moving average and some indicators are all based on Filtering Subject in Engineering Courses. but all these indicators do not estimate future trend like a time-series.
as I friend, I suggest you learn signal processing fundamentals for trading.
