Gold went up on Friday due to worry of US government shutdown, which has happened before so should not give too much surprise to the market. The last two hours gold dropped and closed at its lowest in the US session. Buy on rumour, sell on fact, so the conclusion is : gold will drop when the market reopens in Asia.
