There isn't any reason, most of XRP's news is positive and they are gaining significant support. It's also worth noting your looking at an XRP/BTC chart. Of course it's going to look like a downward trend! BTC has significantly gone up while XRP stabilizes from the last bull run. XRP will have another bull run shortly and pull back very similar to this. All this is pure speculation of course. If your going to invest to be rich you need to find a promising concept and hold to it long term, otherwise I'm sure your exchange(s) are very happy collecting there commission checks.

Additionally if you look at XRP on an XRP/USD chart spread over a month, then look at the MACD, and CCI, you will see that not only did the MACD signify a strong buy signal, the CCI can tell us that XRP is bouncing back from an oversold trend, meaning that it is likely to go up.
