I'm expecting a world equities market crash/correction soon. When the orange trendline breaks, the target is the lime trendline. When the lime trendline breaks, we are most likely headed for the 0.618 level.
Hedge the risk by going long volatility - be safe.
I am doing the same. I'm a n00b, software dev by trade but sitting on cash until we correct. Bought a bit of VXX to pass the time until the pullback. Mind if I ask how you "go long on volatility"?

buying VXX is going long on volatility :) try not to hold overnight as VXX tend to drop like a rock.
