WTW hires Triple-I's Porfilio to lead ICT's personal and commercial lines business development
(The Insurer) - WTW has appointed Dale Porfilio as senior director and head of personal and commercial lines business development to its insurance consulting and technology (ICT) business.
In his new role, Porfilio will be responsible for driving growth, market share and profitability in personal and commercial insurance sectors. He will also oversee client relationships and explore ways to use WTW’s technology and consulting services to help clients drive better business and customer outcomes.
He will be based in Chicago.
Porfilio, who has over three decades of industry experience, was previously the chief insurance officer at the Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) and president of the Insurance Research Council, where he led their research and education activities.
Prior to that, he was senior vice president and corporate chief actuary for Genworth Financial, where he looked after the actuarial practice for all product lines and countries. He has also worked at Kemper Preferred and Actuary.
Triple-I earlier this month promoted PatrickSchmid to chief insurance officer as Porfilio's successor.
