USE DEFAULT SETTINGS
The strategy is to maximise the profit for OCC longs (ALMA algo)
Longs start when the price action settles around the ALMA OCC, then typically breaks up
Then follow the trend indcator (blue/orange)
Shorts normally happen when the price action crosses below the ALMA OCC, although these initiate faster than the 1 day time setting - so watchout for shorts - are harder to predict than longs
So this catches most of the big move longs at their initiation
@jdmh33, repainting was an issue earlier on when I started coding TV. Possibly - look at some of my more recent published scripts - I think these mention 'every attempt has been made to avoid repainting' i.e., they don't repaint. Do you code - are you looking at the script or just using it?

@jdmh33, I recall trying to remove repainting from this but the function 'functionTrend' which makes the security call was very difficult to adjust. I also recall here that the security function on the trend would incorrectly call a faster timeframe that the chart's present - security calls are not designed for this - so repainting was always an issue. However I did find that the trend was actually very useful at its present point to assist with price action direction. The OCC was to get into trades then the trend to assist with a good time to exit. The OCC I recall did not repaint. I later dropped the trend for its repainting issue - as the error of calling a faster timeframe than the chart was on could not avoid repainting. If you could specify possibly a different code solution you seek - I'd be interested to have a look.
