This simple script takes a closer look at the Commercial part of the CoT (Commitment of Traders) Data. It shows thier percentual level on given time frames (default: during the last 6 months, 3 years and 5 years). This relative perspective is often more useful than the absolute contract numbers.

How can you normalize min max if the min is a negative number? Don’t all numbers in a dataset to be normalized have to be positive first? Currently this isn’t a true normalization.

Great tool. Newbie to COT data. So I know COT data is released weekly by the CFTC. Yes, this shows COT data on a daily basis. How does that work? I see reference to qualsys. SO do they have daily access and you tap into that? I am curious to understand how this works. Thank you so much\.

besten Dank erst einmal für dieses tolle Hilfsmittel. Könnten Sie mir sagen, wann die Daten in dem Indikator aktualisiert werden? In der Regel werden die COT Daten ja am Freitagabend veröffentlicht. Wird der Indikator dann ebenfalls Freitag angepasst oder erst am folgenden Handelstag. Ich würde gerne am Wochenende meine COT Auswertung machen. Allerdings bin ich noch nicht ganz dahinter gekommen, ob die Daten dann bereits angepasst wurden. Besten Dank schon einmal für die Hilfe.

I installed this plugin. And actually it indicates bearish for wti crude oil.

However, I do have a request as a trader of forex and financial futures. The indicator does not work on N6, DX, or SP500. Can you please add these 3 to this indicator?
