we seem to be on the edge of a new pandemic with a deadlier mpox strain than 2022 (3-5 % mortality rate). BAVA is one of the vaccine producers and most likely got an Invitation for EUL from WHO (see who.int/news/item/09-08-2024-who-invites-mpox-vaccine-manufacturers-to-submit-dossiers-for-emergency-evaluations) . BAVA is one of the 2 Producers of vaccines (JYNNEOS from BAVA and ACCAM2000 from Emergent Bio)
