BTC failed to break a confluence of resistances around $8400.

You can clearly see this line starting from October 2016 (yes, 2016) playing support and resistance throughout BTC's journey to peak in Dec 2017. This line, together with the resistance that has not been broken since December 2017, formed voltran together at 8400 and pushed the price back into the triangle. We can expect a gradual decline down to 6800 levels, which is also the 0.618 of AB (profit taking level) in the latest BAT formation of BTC that completed at 8400.
