Fundamentally inverstors should not fear 1st August for 5 reasons:
Exchanges prepared: Via BTC others fork off Bitcoin as it happens with open source projects.
Mandatory replay protection: Bitcoin Holders will be able to receive Bitcoin Cash after the fork.
Just another altcoin: Exchanges (Coinbase, Bitmex) consider Bitcoin Cash as an altcoin.
Segwit: Bitcoin is mantaining it's upward trend with SegWit activation in sight.
Perspective: In the long, the fork won't affect Bitcoin.
