Here we have 2 scenarios for BTC's path to 40000 $
First scenario which I think is more likely to happen is the green arrows which leads us to a pullback to 20000 $ level and then start a mid term growth toward 40000 $.
In the second scenario (the blue one) we can see BTC growth without any need to pullback toward 20000 $
