Bitcoin - The Idea that we can create a new Money.

Bitcoin seems to have legs. It is the flag bearer for the idea of a new money system.
The trend line shows how the idea of a decentralised, non-political collective money shows merit and gains traction.

I feel this trend line will continue - nothing is more powerful than an idea who's time has come.

As we collectively "Get our heads around" the concept of this new money we will go through phases of ebullience and doubt, like any idea new concept we grapple with.

I've been watching this and am getting bearish on Bitcoin.... there's a lot of hype around making money off the climb and the vague idea that Bitcoin is a good thing.

Bitcoin needs to find out what it wants to be and how it's going to achieve that - it needs a business plan and it needs to become real. At the moment we're trading on the idea.

It feels like a big correction may be due - the squabbling around the hard forks does not inspire confidence and trust - Bitcoin is too volatile to trade with - or even hold as a store of wealth.

There's a big drop coming soon and I would prefer to place my money behind a crypto with a real workable plan for putting blockchain to work.

The idea that we can create a new money and the broad platform to achieve this is in place - but I feel a reality check is due, and let the real work begin.
