ahh guys- bitcoin gold fork- any answers- any help?- BTC ENTRY!

should i buy here or wait for a pullback!?!? i know the bitcoin fork is coming up, and its aparently expected for everyone to get free btc from the hard fork. i am a little confused as to this matter. i know i have to be in a desktop wallet before the 25th, however i dont know where to go from there, how do you go about actually getting the free bitcoin?
