Recession Incoming

Princess Gwen here. A princess needs to think ahead, and this one is very focused on the US stock market right now.

So, I'm just going to call it. I think markets will be at half of their peak values by the end of March, 2020. After that, who knows? Thus far we have been in lock-step with the major moves that were made in 2007-2008. The timing of market moves lines up perfectly with the moves from the last recession, and I don't see why that won't continue. Besides that, a monster cross just formed on the Weekly MACD.

In any bull run, there's a question I ask myself: What does the other side of the mountain look like? Market cycles tend to look like mountains, and as much as people like to pretend that a bull market won't end, they always do. Asking what the other side of the mountain looks like precludes any talk of 'permanent plateaus.'

So, what will the other side of the mountain look like?
