PERSONALLY, I have always ADVISED AGAINST buying MEME coins because they usually turn out to be PUMP-N-DUMPS! The reason is because ALL OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES HAVE AMAZING USE CASES IN THE REAL WORLD, WHILE MEME COINS REMAIN JUST MEMECOINS, and nothing more!
If you're trying to TRADE them and "ride the wave" like a surfer, I SURE HOPE YOU'RE READY TO SELL when the time comes!
I.M.O. They're too risky all around and are the equivalent of throwing your money blindly at the casino!
All other crypto has FUNDAMENTALS, and REAL WORLD APPLICATION that we can use to analyze and determine a VALUE! THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT LESSON TO UNDERSTAND!
If you do not have Stop loss orders protecting you from a drop, YOU'RE TAKING A BIG RISK!
MEMECOINS DUMP MUCH HARDER THAN OTHER ALTS.
Other altcoins HOLD THEIR VALUE MUCH BETTER THAN MEMECOINS because of the fundamentals!
