The minimum moves we are observing in the last few days are not only due to the Christmas period.
SP500 is within the triangle up and very close to the Apex.. There is very little room for moves.
In that config, i would say there is 95% chance the exit is to downside with an increase in amplitude.
The reminder 5% is a blackswan up which remains to be seen
