This is an analysis comparing the Past 2 Crypto Total Market Cap Cycles. The Total Crypto Market Capitalization is very important because at the end of the day, this will be the determining factor on what new All Time Highs our coins will reach ;)

For the first part of the analysis, I had to fill in some data from 2011 - 2014 since TradingView doesn't have the data for this (P.S. I tried to find data for the 2009-2011 cycle but it was too difficult to find any consistent market cap data from that period). As for the Market Cap ATH back in 2011, I found a site saying it topped out at $23.8 Million. I calculated the Percentage Change and Time Interval from each Cycles Prior and New ATH's (Please let me know if there are any math questions). I concluded that the difference between the 2011-2013 Cycle and the 2014-2018 Cycle, was that the "% Change" decreased by 12.57x and the "Cycle Timeline" increased by 1.7x. These are the numbers that I used to predict the 2018-202(?) Cycle Total Market Cap ATH.

I offer 2 Options based on time Interval. One if you believe the cycles are increasing in length, and one if you believe this cycle will be the same as last time... Everybody wins :)

I personally think 3.4 TRILLION is very plausible for this upcoming ATH because of... Hint: It starts with "Institutional" and ends with "Money"!!!

As for the color matched ovals, I attempted to match up key cycle patterns to identify where in our cloud we could be right now.

For the second part of the analysis, I identified some key points on the RSI, specifically when they break above the 70 RSI Support. Seems like the last cycle had around 8 peaks which would favor the non-increasing cycle theory. Will be something interesting I will be keeping my eye on as we push for new highs in the upcoming year!

Please leave a comment with any feedback! Thanks!
