As we see on the Chart The 
UK100 Index testing the first resistance (1) and in my own view it will break this resistance sooner or later to test the resistance (2) Which is a previous semmit especially after the fake break of the uptrend (the bullish channel in general), After that we may see a new peak on the level (3) on the Chart and this enhances the rise of the price.

My analysis are for medium and long term investment (weekly and monthly)
