Was in a bull position and was enjoying quite a bit of profit, that is until 10am. BoC decided to make an announcement earlier than 2pm. I was expecting to ride up to 1.33 from my Entry at 1.318. At the sudden drop, I barely got out at the same price I've got in. Lesson is: Never trust the standard calendar and always keep your guards. For me it was no gain and loss, but I am quite sure many people lost a huge bundle. Sometimes I tend to think manipulations and inside tradings at very high levels, for a few to make money. I can not explain the reason of early announcement.
What's next?
I still hold on my position of bearish sentiment for the long run, and will not enter the market on the long side at the moment. Short positions have to be very selective, as they will develop rather quickly in this type of volatile environment.
