Volatility futures front running.

Caveat: My parkfield indicators are still in R&D. The move was strong enough on the 15 minute time frame that it just posted a "sell." It also is posting "buy" alerts at the same time.

I don't think this is the top and the 45 minute time frame is better at detecting tops. So I am letting the trade run. I will update this post with a close when I close, but closing will be more of an art than a science.

Reduced my position by 50%.

Trying to not outsmart the indicator.

Will let the rest run for an hour and see where we are at the close.

Closed rest of position and bought some $18 May puts.

Move not strong enough to roll over the daily indicator to buy, so I am following the 15 minute indictator which has been a correct money maker so far.
