Before the end of 2019, Gold making a good bull run. But with the recent geo political situation in the middle east shows a sudden change of trend. Would you panic and cut all your profit before it continue the dive? It depends on your trading system and perhaps mindset. As for me, I am not exiting but may some position. You need to study the price action on the chart of what it signal to us historically.
Gold made similar move in the past year and some other years. Price dips to a certain retracement level, but it then resume the bull trend. The price action behavior would certainly shake some weak hands out of the market, eventually a strong hand will be the big winner. Remember the old saying, ride the trend or trend is your friend. The same applies since the founding of Dow Theory. If the long term trend still bullish, I will certainly keeping my position in the market.
