maybe because of political news , Gold in mixed up situation. surely the long-term situation is uptrend for Gold. in the other hand we are under a Mid-term downtrend . gold price volatility has been limited in a short term uptrend channel.this channel can be a foundation for a large uptrend movement or instead it can be a build up for breaking the long-term line. if you are in long position , then the 1st safe target can be 1920-1927usd. if you are looking for a buy opportunity , you must wait ,upper than mid-term downtrend or bellow the long-term uptrend there will be good and lucrative opportunities.
