XAUUSD is expected to range within 1860s and 1830s level within the next few days which provides nice scalping opportunities.
If bearish breakout occurs below the channel we might see price reaching 1760s level.
If bullish breakout occurs above the channel and we will have a potential tp at 1900s level.
Personally, I'm bearish and am holding short positions at 1870 and 1865. Reason for that is:
-Formation of bearish candlestick pattern at major trendline resistance on daily timeframe
Meanwhile, I'll also be looking for short scalp opportunities within the scalping zone with tp of 100-150 pips.

Price reached buy zone and bounced nicely.IMO market is still bearish and would look for short opportunities. Will continue to observe price actions before making any entries here.
Possibility is slim but there's still chance for a bullish breakout to occur as traditionally January is a bullish month. If that occurs wait for price to close above the channel and buy at retrace.
No one can predict the market accurately 100% of the time so always keep in mind to have good risk and money management.
