XXII - Flag Breakout & Compelling Story

The chart is clear - this has the look of a huge flag breakout that could easily double in a short period of time. It's an obvious long without the narrative. But I've been watching this company for some time and love what they are focusing on and I find it particularly compelling. 22nd Century Group is a plant biotechnology company that has developed patented technology that allows them to grow tobacco with a specific amount of nicotine. The tobacco component is huge because it will allow smokers to keep their smoking habit while slowly kicking the nicotine addiction. Currently you have to completely quit the social habit while also dealing with the debilitating addiction withdrawals. This flips that around and can make the process much easier.

In addition to the tobacco component, they also have the ability to grow marijuana with specific cannabinoid/terpene profiles. This will allow them to create strains that are developed specifically for different uses (pain, insomnia, anxiety, seizures, etc). This industry is in need of tighter controls as well as innovation and I think this could be a very important technology for bringing marijuana into the future. Love the narrative. Love the chart.
