Investors Can Still File Late Claims in Grand Canyon Education Settlement
Court: D. Delaware
Case: 1:20-cv-00639
Investors can still file a late claim to receive payment from the $25.5M Grand Canyon Education settlement.
What is this settlement?
In July 2018, Grand Canyon Education announced that Grand Canyon University would become a separate non-profit organization and that GCE would provide services to it.
However, in September 2019, Citron Research published a report titled "GCE is the Educational Enron," accusing GCE of financial manipulation. Causing LOPE to drop 4%.
Following this, Grand Canyon was sued by shareholders and has agreed to settle by paying $25.5M to investors.
