Price Forbes expands Lectio to include builders' risk coverage

(The Insurer) - Specialist broker Price Forbes has expanded its Lectio facility to include construction and builders' risk coverage, the company announced on Thursday.

Lectio, which is the broker's exclusive cross-class facility, will follow pre-approved Lloyd's leaders for short-term construction in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

Price Forbes launched Lectio in April 2021 with coverage for cargo, specie, financial products, healthcare and marine insurance.

It has now expanded to include aviation, cargo and stock throughput, cyber, onshore and offshore energy, financial institutions, marine, worldwide property, power and, now, construction and builders' risk with nearly $1.2 billion gross written premium scope, the company said.
