VW branded e-car sales up 14% in H1, Handelsblatt reports

Volkswagen's VOW core VW brand saw global sales volumes of electric vehicles gain 14.3% during the first half of the year as the German carmaker underscores its leading European market position in the segment, Handelsblatt reported on Wednesday.
Without specifying its sources, the newspaper added that Volkswagen-branded EV unit sales in Europe were up by more than 70% during the first half.
