HAV Group: Subsidiary secures Greenland contract
July 7, 2025 - HAV Group's water treatment systems business has signed acontract to deliver five container-based water purification systems isolatedcommunities in Greenland.
The order marks a strategic breakthrough in both a new product segment and anewgeographic market. It represents an important step in the company's commitmentto sustainable water treatment solutions for challenging climatic andlogisticalenvironments.
Each system is specially designed to be under 1,000 kg, enabling helicoptertransport to locations without road or sea access. The systems are deliveredininsulated aluminium containers equipped with electric heating systems and aredeveloped for efficient operation under Arctic conditions. They are alsodesigned for quick and simple installation with no need for extensive localadjustments.
The delivery is carried out in collaboration with the company's local partner,KJ, which has extensive experience with infrastructure projects in Arcticregions.
Delivery of all five systems will take place during the period from October2025to January 2026. HAV Group's contract party is Norwegian Greentech AS.
