Kyrgyzstan GDP Expands 11.7% in the First Half of 2025

Kyrgyzstan’s GDP grew by 11.7% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, slightly easing from 12.3% growth in the January–May period but notably higher than the 8.1% growth recorded during the same period in 2024.
The robust performance was driven by a 10.0% expansion in the services sector, which accounted for 52.0% of GDP, with notable gains in trade (+18.6%), transport (+8.1%), information and communication (+6.4%), and hotel and restaurant activities (+49.2%).
Meanwhile, goods production rose 15.0%, contributing 31.5% to total output, supported by strong growth in manufacturing (+9.8%), construction (+42.5%), mining (+10.8%), and agriculture (+3.8%).
