Rapid Price Channel RPC [Mema Financial Services - Germany]

Rapid Price Channel RPC . Developed by Mema Financial Services - Germany
# Script Description
The following script returns a Rapid Price Channel (RPC) based on a fast moving average and ATR, offering potentially better results than the deprecated Bollinger Bands.
# Indicator Components
A. Rapid Price Channel (RPC) Bands
1. Blue band in the center – Fast MA20
2. Upper gray band – Fast MA20 adjusted with ATR
3. Lower gray band – Fast MA20 adjusted with ATR
4. Orange line – Fast Moving Average (MA14)
# Comparison to Bollinger Bands
1. Bollinger Bands use a slow SMA20, while RPC uses a fast MA20, making it 5 to 10 candles faster than Bollinger Bands.
2. Bollinger Bands rely on standard deviation for the upper and lower bands, whereas RPC uses ATR, which may provide more responsive and accurate signals.
3. RPC includes an additional fourth signal line (orange), which is not available in Bollinger Bands. This signal line helps identify bullish and bearish trends more easily.
# Settings
Length: MA14 and MA20 periods
Src: Source input of the indicator
# Usage
If bullish candles close above the orange line MA10, this can be indicative of a bullish trend; otherwise, it may signal a bearish trend.
A crossover of the orange MA14 above the blue MA20 can indicate a bullish trend, while crossdown may suggest a bearish trend.
