Money Flow LineWhat is this? The Money Flow Line (MFL) indicator is at its core a more even-tempered version of the Price-Volume-Trend (PVT). The primary difference is the usage of `hlc3` ((high + low + close) / 3) rather than `close` to use the "typical price" that it critical to the calculation of the Money Flow Index (MFI). Other similar indicators include the Accumulation Distribution Line (ADL) and the On Balance Volume (OBV) indicators. The purpose of all of these indicators is to attempt to measure the strength of the money flow by combining price and volume into a rolling measurement that can be compared over time to look for confirmations and divergences.
The indicator also includes an optional averaging (smoothing) line that can be enabled in the display settings. Enabling this smoothing line with a desired period allows for simpler trend comparisons and also allows the user to view how far the line has diverged from the mean. This creates an indicator very similar to Elder's Force Index (EFI), which is also a `close * volume` style indicator.
Why is this important? After an extreme movement or volume spike the MFI will "snap back" sharply as that bar eventually exits the set period. This produces a result that is meaningless and skews the indicator away from the market structure. Because of this behavior, range clamping, and the loss of comparative history I prefer to shy away from oscillator style indicators. The Money Flow Line instead gives you all of the history so you may compare and see the broader trend without sharp snaps in history based on an arbitrary period setting.
Why is this better? This produces a no-lag indicator that isn't subject to the harsh skewing produced by they Money Flow Index's period calculation. It doesn't lose history like MFI or EFI, is clear about the trend direction, and prefers a "typical price" (averaging the entire range of each bar) rather than whatever happens to be the closing price for a given bar.
How can I use it? The indicator is attempting to measure supply and demand in the markets. No indicator is perfect, but we can use all of the information we have available to make our best predictions. There are only 3 pieces of data the market gives us:
1. Price (action)
2. Volume
3. Time
The Money Flow Line combines all of these data points into a readable rolling data set that attempts to show subtle balance of power shifts based on changes in volume and "smart money" (or "big money") stepping in and out of the picture. Much like PVT, we look for the same things:
- Trend Identification: an up or down trend appears in the MFL
- Confirmations: the MFL agrees with price action in direction and magnitude
- Divergence: the MFL disagrees with price action, indicating a reversal may be coming soon
When applying the smoothing line we can also look for similar things we would with EFI. The primary case would be to look for the MFL to jump very far away from the mean (a high magnitude movement) which indicates that price may be reverting towards the mean soon (a "mean reversion"). On the other hand, it may indicate strength in the current price direction. All of these predictions depend heavily on price action and market structure. Good luck!

SuperTrend Trapping Candle StrategyHello traders!
How this indicator works?
The main functionality of this indicator is to find entry based upon SuperTrend indicator. This indicator helps us to find trapping candle to enter into the market.
What is a trapping candle?
A trapping candle is a candle that shows strength in opposite direction to SuperTrend. This helps us to enter in a trade before the move start in the current trend's direction. There are two types of trapping candles signals I have added currently:
1. Volume is high than previous candle in the opposite direction.
2. 3 candles of opposite direction with decreasing volume .
How to enter in a trade in uptrend market?
SuperTrend shows a green signal
A green triangle formed below red candle
Enter into the trade when price is above red candle high
SL could be place below red candle or swing low if it is near
How to enter in a trade in downtrend market?
SuperTrend shows a red signal
A red triangle formed above green candle
Enter into the trade when price is below green candle low
SL could be place above green candle high or swing high if it is near
How to avoid to enter in a trade in sideways market?
You can follow price action strategies
Or you can follow some indicator to find sideways market
Indicator settings and how to change?
ATR Length - For SuperTrend, this is default value.
Factor - For SuperTrend, changed to 2 to provide fast signals.
Candle Height - For trapping candle price, default set to 0.003% of the current price.

Real IndicatorReal indicator is an indicator to convert ohlcv charts to one oscilator!
there is an effective thing in all charts: "Volume", and I used this thing to mix it by price
Buy: on crossing above to Bollinger-lower-band (on Up-trends)
Sell: on crossing under Bollinger-upper-band (on Down-Trends)

FaustFaust is a composite indicator that combines 3 volume indicators: TSV, OBV, and PVT.
TSV moving average is plotted as an oscillator. OBV and PVT are calculated internally.
Four divergences are calculated for each indicator (regular bearish, regular bullish, hidden bearish, and hidden bullish) with three look-back periods (high, mid, and small).
For TSV, the fattest plotted line is the divergence with the highest look-back period, and the thinnest line is the divergence with the shortest look-back period.
For PVT, the larger the circle, the higher the divergence look-back period.
For OBV, the larger the triangle, the higher the divergence look-back period.
speed pumpIn my basic formula that I calculated with volume and price variables, I determined RSI 7, RSI 14, MF 7, MF 14, CMF 20 and average price deviation difference as limiting. My goal is to detect sudden rising altcoins and quickly buy and sell. I added an alarm for this. I'm sure I didn't write a perfect signal, and you may even get false signals at many points. You should know that this market is always insecure, and it is entirely your responsibility to use the signals. I will continue my analysis to do better. Good luck to all of us.
Bogdan Ciocoiu - MakaveliDescription
This indicator integrates the functionality of multiple volume price analysis algorithms whilst aligning their scales to fit in a single chart.
Having such indicators loaded enables traders to take advantage of potential divergences between the price action and volume related volatility.
Users will have to enable or disable alternative algorithms depending on their choice.
Uniqueness
This indicator is unique because it combines multiple algorithm-specific two-volume analyses with price volatility.
This indicator is also unique because it amends different algorithms to show output on a similar scale enabling traders to observe various volume-analysis tools simultaneously whilst allocating different colour codes.
Open source re-use
This indicator utilises the following open-source scripts:
BankNifty - OBVThis script tries to draw OBV for BankNifty using Futures Volume along with Average OBV. For Nifty50 just change the Futures Volume symbol in settings. Look at devations in Price vs OBV or Average OBV breakout.
NSE:NIFTY
NSE:BANKNIFTY
Intrabar OBV/PVTI got this idea from @fikira's script Intrabar-Price-Volume-Change-experimental
The indicator calculates OBV and PVT based on ticks. Since, the indicator relies on live ticks, it only starts execution after it is put on the charts. The script can be useful in analysing intraday buy and sell pressure. Details are color coded based on the values.
Data is presented in simple tabular format.
Formula for OBV and PVT can be found here:

Volume Price Trend with Divergence and Pivot Points The volume price trend indicator is used to determine the balance between a security’s demand and supply. The percentage change in the share price trend shows the relative supply or demand of a particular security, while volume indicates the force behind the trend. The VPT indicator is similar to the on-balance volume (OBV) indicator in that it measures cumulative volume and provides traders with information about a security’s money flow.
This is Volume Price Trend or VPT recalculated to be an Oscillator, a Divergence hunter was added, also Pivot Points and Alerts.
VPT is considered a "leading indicator" - in contrast to a "lagging indicator" just as Moving Averages it does not show a confirmation what already happened, but it shows what can happen in the future. For example: The chart is climbing while the VPT oscillator is slowly declining, gets weaker and weaker, maybe even prints bearish divergences? That means that a reversal might be occurring soon. Leading indicators are best paired with Stop and Resistance Lines, general Trendlines , Fib Retracements etc...Your chart is approaching a very important Resistance Trendline but the VPT shows a very positive signal? That means there is a high probability that the Resistance is going to be pushed though and becomes Support in the future.
What are those circles?
-These are Divergences. Red for Regular-Bearish. Orange for Hidden-Bearish. Green for Regular-Bullish. Aqua for Hidden-Bullish.
What are those triangles?
- These are Pivots . They show when the VPT oscillator might reverse, this is important to know because many times the price action follows this move.
Please keep in mind that this indicator is a tool and not a strategy, do not blindly trade signals, do your own research first! Use this indicator in conjunction with other indicators to get multiple confirmations.
PVT RSIPrice Volume Trend based RSI with SMA smoothing. I personally prefer smoothed RSI's to get rid of noise.
Dynamic Price SwingFinally, a price channel oscillator that works.
I programmed three flavors into this.
The first flavor uses the Fast and Slow EMA to check for the trend to ensure you don't trade in the wrong direction simply because the price crosses the previous highest high or lowest low (based on lookback bars).
The second flavor uses a seven point average of the Fibonacci bands to create an upper and lower central channel for quick trades (like DOGE).
The third flavor uses the golden Fibonacci ratio of 1.618 and trades when the price moves above or below this band.
Bear & Bull Zone Signal StrategySince I love to mix and match, here is something fresh and that actually works on the breakout of Ethereum without losing your ass on lagging indicators.
It blends some of the nice parts of my previous scripts while moving to big boy pants with a twist on the Fibonacci retracement using SMA and EMA at multiple levels to do a sanity check.
Is it too good to be true? Nope, just what happens when a Solution Architect starts messing around with crypto and applies engineering and mathematics to the mix. You get a strategy that really doesn't have high profit losses when you tweak it just the right way.
What's the right tweak you ask?
1. Start with a 30 minute timeframe and set your window start date to the date the market began the bear or bull run
2. Make sure you can see your strategy performance window (not the graph one)
3. Set Stop Loss and Target Profit to 50%
4. Use your mouse wheel or up and down arrows and mess around with the RSI, go down one at a time but no lower than 7. Whichever value displayed the highest long or short gain is the one to pick.
5. Now select long or short only based on whichever one shows the highest gain.
6. Now go to K and D, leave K as 3 and check what happens when D is 4 or 5. Leave D at the value that gives you the highest gain.
7. Now go to EMA Fast and Slow Lengths. Leave Fast at 5 and check what happens when the Slow is moved up to 11 or 12, do the gains go up. If not, check what happens when Slow is moved down to 9, 8, or 7. Whichever gives you the highest gain, leave it there. Now go mess with the fast length, keep in mind that fast must always be less than slow. So check values down to 3 and up to 6. Same concept, mo money...leave it be.
8. Now go mess with the Target Profit, I start at 5, hit enter, then go to 7, hit enter, then 9...up by 2 until I get to 21 to make sure I don't hastily pick a low one and always keep in mind between which values the gain switched from high to low. For example, in this example I published at 11 it was $5k and at 13 it was $3700 for the gains. So after I got up to 21 I went back to 11 and started going up by 0.01 steps until the value dropped, which was at 11.19 so I set it at 11.18.
9. Now stop loss is trickier, you've maximized the gains, which means if you set the stop loss at a low value you will sacrifice gains. Typically by this point your loss is less than 10% with this script. So, my approach is to find the value where the stop loss doesn't change what I've tweaked already. In this example, I did the same start at 5 and go up by 2 and saw that when I went to 17 it stopped changing. So I started going back down by 0.5 and saw at 15.5 the gains went lower again. Now I started going back up in steps of 0.01 and at 15.98 it went back to the high gain I already tweaked for. I kept stop loss there and unleashed the strategy on ETH.
So far so good, no bad trades and it's been behaving pretty well.
Price/Volume Trend MeterAnother simple indicator from the sweet indicator series, This is a combination of the Volume and Price Trend Meter indicators combined (Links below) into one indicator called PVTM (Price Volume Trend Meter).
PVTM measures the strength of price and volume pressure on a histogram.
The indicator sums up all green candles price and volume and red candles price and volume over a specific period of bars and plots based on Price summed value. The result will look similar to Price Trend Meter with the benefit of trying to filter out more noise.
Use this indicator to identify the increasing asset of price and volume with the green candles (Close is higher than open) and decreasing of price and volume with the red candles (Close is lower than open).
======= Calculation ==========
Bright Green Color Column: Total summed up Price and Volume are higher than 0.
Bright Red Color Column: Total summed up Price and Volume are Lower than 0.
Weak Green Color Column: Conflict between Price and Volume (One positive and one negative) so we continue based on previous color .
Weak Red Color Column: Conflict between Price and Volume (One positive and one negative) so we continue based on previous color.
======= Price/Volume Trend Meter Colors =======
Green: Increasing buying pressure.
Weaker Green: Declining Buying pressure (Possible Sell Reversal).
Red: Increasing selling pressure.
Weaker Red: Declining Selling pressure (Possible Buy Reversal).

MAX SAHAM ADX with DI Max Saham's ADX line with D+ & D-
ADX is used to quantify trend strength.
When the D+ (+DMI) is dominant and rising, price direction is up.
When the D- (-DMI) is dominant and rising, price direction is down. But the strength of price must also be considered.
Uses Wilder's MA to get a more accurate ADX reading as compared to SMA.
Also added the green background to indicate the trend and also dots to indicate bull and bear crossing of the DMI's

Candlestick RSThis is a candlestick charted Relative Strength indicator. It compares the chosen stock's progress compared to that of the SPY ETF ... ( SPY is used so it should hopefully update intraday). I use this indicator to see which stocks are outperforming the market.
Input Variable Descriptions:
Ratio: this variable is a float (0 to 1) that is basically how close the Candlestick RS is to the actual price action of the chart. (1.0 being right on top of it, 0.0 being as far away as possible from it)
Ballpark SPY price: this variable has to be constant, and due to the way pinescript works, you have to manually put in a ballpark of what SPY is at.
Neither of these variables influences the actual data of the indicator, but rather how it is shown on screen. It's difficult to describe, so I recommend you messing around with the variables and see what changes.
Hope this helps, I find this useful, so I figured I'd publish this... This is my first pine script so forgive me for any errors, just want to help :)
Price/Volume Value HistogramAn interesting implementation of mine to measure an asset changes based on asset price velocity and volume velocity. The indicator acts as asset value calculator. Long and Short.
==Points System Rules==
UPTRENDING
If Current Close is higher than previous Close and Current Volume is bigger than previous Volume: Adds Close Points and Volume Points
Otherwise check
If Current Close is higher than previous Close: Adds Only Close Points
DOWNTRENDING
If Current Close is lower than previous Close and Current Volume is bigger than previous Volume: Reduces Close Points and Volume Points
Otherwise check
If Current Close is lower than previous Close: Reduces Only Close Points
==Plotting==
Result of the values are summed up to a histogram.
Obviously on increasing prices and volume the histogram will be above zero line and on the Bullish side (green color), otherwise, on the Bearish side (red color).
You can't cheat the price movement, it's just what it is.
Optional to smooth it by EMA (set to true by default).
