Elder Impulse System + ATR BandsDisregard the above chart, I am not sure why it isn't showing the one I want, which is linked below:
This is as far as I can tell the closest representation to Dr. Alexander Elder's updated "Elder Impulse System" that has added ATR-volatility bands up to 3x deviations from price. I got the idea from watching this recent video (www.youtube.com) of Dr. Elder reviewing some recent trades and noticed he had updated his system from his original books. The Impulse System colour coding was inspired by AstralLoverFlow and LazyBear. ATR Bands are pre-programmed Keltner Channels with some modifications such as filing in the ATR Zones with user-selected colour bands and modifying the ATR value to better suit the volatility of the market being traded.
The script has several components, which I will detail below:
Exponential Moving Averages:
1) A 13-period EMA that is used as a staple in all of Dr. Elder's technical analysis. He uses this EMA as the basis for all of his indicators and why it is included here.
2) A 26-period EMA which can be used as a base-line of sorts to filter when to go long or when to go short. For instance, price over the 26-EMA, price is strong and the rally upwards is likely to continue, underneath it, price is weak and likely to continue downwards for a time.
Volatility Bands:
By definition these are nothing more than 3 separate Keltner Channels of a 13-period EMA each set to one additional multiplier from the moving average. This gives us a 1x, 2x, and 3x multiplier of average volatility from the 13-period EMA based on a 14-period Average True Range (ATR) reading. The ATR was chosen as it accommodates price gaps and also is the standard formula calculation in TradingView. The values of the bands cannot be adjusted but the colour coding of them can be.
Elder Impulse System:
These colour-coded bars show you the strength and direction of the current chart resolution, calculated by the slope of a 13-period EMA and the slope of a MACD histogram. These are used not as a buying or selling recommendation alone but as trend filters, as per Dr. Elder's own description of them.
Green Bars = The 13-period EMA is sloping positively and the MACD histogram is rising compared to previous bars. The trader should only consider buying/long opportunities when a green bar is most recent.
Red Bars = The 13-period EMA is sloping negatively and the MACD histogram is falling compared to previous bars. The trader should only consider selling/short opportunities when a red bar is most recent.
Blue Bars = The 13-period EMA and the MACD histogram are not aligned. One of the indicators is sloping opposite to the other indicator. These are known as indecision bars and are typically seen near the end of a previously established trend. The trader can choose to wait for either a green or red bar to shape their trading bias if they are more risk-averse while a counter-trend trader may decide to try opening a position against the currently-established trend.
How To Trade the System:
This system is unique in that it is so versatile and will fit the styles of many traders, be it trend following traders (generally the original Elder Impulse System design) or mean-reversion/counter-trend trading (the original Keltner Channel design). None of the examples below or in the chart above are financial advice and are just there for demonstration purposes only.
1) The most basic signal given would be the moving average cross up or down. A cross of the 13-EMA over the 26-EMA signals upward trend strength and the trader could look for buying opportunities. Conversely, the 13-EMA under the 26-EMA shows downward trend strength and the trader could look for selling opportunities.
2) Following the Elder Impulse system in conjunction with the EMAs. Look for long opportunities when a green bar is printed and price is over both of the 13- and 26-period EMAs. Look for short opportunities when a red bar is printed and price is below both of the 13- and 26-period EMAs. Keep in mind this does not necessarily need a moving average cross to be viable, a green or red bar over both EMAs is a valid signal in this system, usually. Examine price more closely for better entry signals when a blue bar is printed and price is either above or below both EMAs if you are a trend trader. This is how Dr. Elder originally intended the system to be used in conjunction with his famous Triple Screen Trading System. I am not going into detail here as it is a deep subject but I would suggest an interested trader to examine this Triple Screen System further as it is widely accepted as a strong strategy.
3) Mean Reversion and Counter-Trend Trading. Dr. Elder mentions that the zone between the two EMAs is called the Value Zone. A mean reversion trader could look for buying opportunities if price has generally been in an uptrend and falls back to value, conversely, they could look for shorting opportunities if price has generally been in a downtrend and rises back to value. These are your very basic pull backs found in trends that create your higher lows in an uptrend or your lower highs in a downtrend. A mean reversion/scalper trader may also look to use the upper and lower most ATR bands as an indication of price being overbought or oversold and could look to enter a counter-trend trade here once a blue indecision bar is printed and to ride that move back down to the Value Zone.
Taking Profits and Risk Management
This system again is very versatile and will fit a wide range of trading styles. It has built in take profit levels and risk management depending on your style of trading.
1a) In original Triple Screen Trading (and the original Elder Impulse system), a trader was to place a buy order one tick above a newly printed green bar with a stop loss one tick below the most recent 2-day low, and vice-versa for red bars on short selling. as long as other criteria were met, that I will not go into. It is all over YouTube and in his books and on Investopedia if you want more information. The general idea is to continue the trend in the direction if price is strong and you are bought into that move with a close stop, or if price falls back a little bit, you can get in at a better price. This would be a system typically better suited to a scalper.
1b) The updated risk management according to the above video is to place a stop loss at least 2ATR away from price. These bands already have calculated these values so a trader can place a stop one tick below the 2 or even 3ATR zones depending on their risk appetite. This is assuming you have already received a strong buy signal based on the system you follow. This would be a system typically better suited to a trend-trader.
2a) Taking profits if you are a trend trader has several possibilities. The first, as Dr. Elder suggests, is to place a price target 2ATR values away from your entry giving you approximately a 1:1 risk-reward ratio.
2b) The second possibility if the trade is successful is to ride the trend upwards until a blue bar is printed, suggesting indecision in the market. A modified version of this that could let a winning trade run longer is to wait for the price to close under the 13-EMA in fast markets, or close under the 26-EMA in slightly slower markets to maximize potential winnings.
2c) A scalper trader may wish to have a target at either the value zone if they are playing an extended buy/short back to the mean, or if they are being at the mean, to sell or cover when price extends back out to the 2x or 3x zone.
3) Trend traders can additionally use the ATR zones as a sort of safety guidelines for entering a trade. Anything within the 1ATR zone is typically a safer entry as the market is less volatile at this time. Entering when price has gone into the 2ATR zone is signaled as a strong momentum move and can signal a stronger move in the direction of the current closing bar. While not always the case, it is suggested by Dr. Elder to not enter trend trades at the 3ATR zone as this is where you will be likely looking for a counter-trend retracement back to value and a trader entering here in the direction of the trade has a higher chance of being stopped out or not getting in at the best possible price.

Parameter Description

length an integer value that defines the number of bars to calculate the moving average on. The SWMA and VWAP do not use this parameter.
ALMA offset a floating-point value that controls the tradeoff between smoothness (with a value closer to 1) and responsiveness (with a value closer to 0). This parameter is only used by ALMA.
ALMA sigma a floating-point value that specifies the ALMA’s smoothness. The larger this value, the smoother the moving average is. This parameter is only used by ALMA.
I'm not sure if it is needed, so I do not let the three Moving Averages of the script to have indivial algorithm setting. Because that will involve much complicated condition testing and use up more TradingView script lines limit. If you need to combine different algorithms in the three sets of moving averages, or have other ideas, leave a message to let me know; maybe I will try it in the next update.

Grid Bot AutoThis script is an auto-adjusting grid bot simulator. This is an improved version of the original Grid Bot Simulator. The grid bot is best used for ranging/choppy markets. Prices are divided into grids, or trade zones, that will trigger signals each time a new zone is entered. During ranging markets, each transaction is followed by a “take profit.” As the market starts to trend, transactions are stacked (compare to DCA ), until the market consolidates. No signals are triggered above the Upper Limit or Below the Lower Limit. Unlike the previous version, the upper and lower limits are calculated automatically. Grid levels are determined by four factors: Smoothing, Laziness, Elasticity, and Grid Intervals.
Smoothing:
A moving average (or linear regression) is applied to each close price as a basis. Options for smoothing are Linear Regression, Simple Moving Average, Exponential Moving Average, Volume-Weighted Moving Average, Triple-Exponential Moving Average.
Laziness:
Laziness is the percentage change required to reach the next level. If laziness is 1.5, the price must move up or down by 1.5% before the grid will change. This concept is based on Alex Grover’s Efficient Trend Step. This allows the grids to be based on even price levels, as opposed to jagged moving averages.
Elasticity:
Elasticity is the degree of “stickiness” to the current price trend. If the smoothing line remains above (or below) the current grid center without reverting but still not enough to reach the next grid level, the grid line will start to curve toward the next grid level. Elasticity is added to (or subtracted from) the gridline by a factor of minimum system ticks for the current pair. Elasticity of zero will keep the gridlines horizontal. If elasticity is too high, the grid will distort.
Grid Intervals:
Grid intervals are the percentage of space between each grid.
Laziness = 4%, Elasticity = 0. Price must move at least 4% before reaching the next level. With zero elasticity, gridlines are straight.
Laziness = 5%, Elasticity = 100. For each bar at a new grid level, the grid will start “curve” toward the next price level (up if price is greater than the middle grid, down if less than middle grid). Elasticity is calculated by the user-inputted “Elasticity” multiplied by the minimum tick for the current pair (ELSTX = syminfo.mintick * iELSTX)
Try experimenting with different combinations of the Smoothing Length, Smoothing Type, Laziness, Elasticity, and Grid Intervals to find the optimum settings for each chart. Lower-priced pairs (e.g. XRP/ADA/DODGE) will require lower Elasticity. Also note that different exchanges may have different minimum tick values. For example, minimum tick for BITMEX:XBTUSD and BYBIT:BTCUSD is .5, but BINANCE:BTCUSDT and COINBASE:BTCUSD is .01.

Laziness : Percentage required for price to move until it reaches the next level. If price does not reach the next level (up or down), the grid will remain the same as previous grid (because it’s lazy).
Elasticity : Amount of curvature toward the next grid, based on the current price trend. As elasticity increases, gridlines will curve up or down by a factor of the number of ticks since the last grid change.
Grid Interval : Percent between grid levels.
Number of Grids : Number of grids to show.
Cooldown : Number of bars to wait to prevent consecutive signals.
Grid Line Transparency : Lower transparencies brighten the gridlines; higher transparencies dim the gridlines. To hide the gridlines completely, enter 100.
Fill Transparency: Lower transparencies brighten the fill box; higher transparencies dim the fill box. To hide the fill box completely, enter 100.
Signal Size : Make signal triangles large or small.
Reset Buy/Sell Index When Grids Change : When a new grid is formed, resetting the index may prevent false signals (experimental)
Use Highs/Lows for Signals : If enabled, signals are triggered as soon as the price touches the next zone. If disabled, signals are triggered after bar closes. Enable this for “Once Per Bar alerts. Disable for “Once Per Bar Close” alerts.
Show Min Tick : If checked, syminfo.mintick is displayed in upper-righthand corner. Useful for estimating Laziness.
Reverse Fill Colors : Default fill for fill boxes is green after buy and red after sell. Check this box to reverse.

Volatility often refers to the amount of uncertainty or risk related to the size of changes in a security's value. The higher the volatility, the riskier the security - the price of the security can change dramatically over a short time period in either direction. A lower volatility - security's value does not fluctuate dramatically, and tends to be more steady
This study, Volatility Bands , attempts to present a way to measure and visualize volatility , using standard deviations (σ) and average true range indicator, and aims to point out areas that might indicate potential trading opportunities

as you may observe from the examples different setting may have advantages and disadvantages over one another, it is recommended to verify a trading setup with different available options.
Additionally, It is recommended to use this indicator in conjunction with other technical indicators, or verify using chart/candle patterns. Below is an usage example using in conjunction with other indicator, in the given example “Neglected Volume by DGT” is selected
Similarities and Differences
Bollinger Bands depicts two standard deviations above and below a simple moving average, and Keltner Channel depicts two times average true range (ATR) above and below an exponential moving average
Volatility Bands study combines the approach of both Bollinger Bands and Keltner Channel, with different settings and different visualization
Default settings are one standard deviations and one time average true range (ATR) above and below 13 period exponential moving average. Setting can be adjusted by users but let me remind all testes are performed with the default settings.
Mathematically expressed as
Upper band area between “ema + stdev” and “ema + atr”
Lower band area between “ema – stdev” and “ema – atr”

When difference band display is selected the study will reflect the area between “ema + stdev – atr” and “ema – stdev + atr”. As shown in the examples above
Note: standard deviation calculation can be adjusted based on price action or its moving average.
Other differentiation between BB and KC is with V-BANDS mostly we look for trade opportunities when price action move out of the bands and in most cases we assume market is consolidating when the price action is within the bands
The other indicator that presents similarities to Volatility Bands is Squeeze Indicator, which measures the relationship between Bollinger Bands and Keltner's Channels to help identify consolidations and signal when prices are likely to break out. Mainly Volatility Bands is different version of Squeeze indicator, in fact the purpose is almost same but visualization is completely different. Additionally Volatility Bands Offers trading opportunities whereas Squeeze indicator only presents market states unless a momentum indicator is adapted to Squeeze indicator.

RSIOMA is the abbreviation for Relative Strength index (RSI) of moving averages (MA). This custom built indicator is based on calculating the relative strength of two moving averages and the smoothes out the RSI using a moving average. Combined, the RSIOMA oscillator depicts trend changes in prices relative to the time frame. The RSIOMA can be used as a signal generator by itself. (www.ProfitF.com)

This is a Swiss Army knife type of Moving Average tool. Select your favorite Moving Average type, EMA - Exponential Moving Average, SMA - Simple Moving Average, WMA - Weighted Moving Average, or HMA - Hull Moving Average. Then selection your number of periods. The MA line is green when trending higher and red when trending lower. The fill between price and the MA line matches the red/green of the direction.
Defaults and Configuration:
The default setting is 65 period and EMA. Line colors and optional fill colors are user-configurable.
Alerts:
An alert can be set on the MA for directional color changes (red to green, or green to red) Right click the indicator and select Add Alert. Then select Bullish or Bearish color change.
Suggested Uses:
Add this to any timeframe chart with your favorite Moving averages. A strategy I use frequently is to "stretch" the Moving average. For example if you like the 8 day moving average on the daily chart, try the 52 period Moving average on the hourly chart. (6.5 market hours per day * 8) By looking at smaller time frames with longer MAs you get smoother color transitions on the Moving average. Add multiple instances of the MA. I prefer to use a smaller quick MA with a longer MA that represents a longer time frame.
Another use case I also like is the color transition over a Moving Average crossover. While I do like the daily 2/6 and 8/3 moving average crossovers, red-to-green and green-to-red color transitions seem to work with less lag than the crossovers.
Suggested Settings:
Daily charts: 8 EMA
Hourly charts: 55 EMA
30 minute charts: 65 WMA. (I like this one for inverse ETFs)
3 minutes charts: 178 EMA and 233 EMA
I also like to round MA settings up or down to the nearest fibonacci number: 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, etc.

This script is an interpretation of Larry Williams' famous WillVal (Valuation) Index, originally developed in 1990 to help traders determine whether a market or asset is overvalued or undervalued. We've extended it to support multiple securities and offer alerts for different valuation levels, helping you make more informed trading decisions.
What is the Valuation Index?
The Valuation Index measures how a security's current price compares to its historical price action. It helps identify whether the security is overvalued (priced too high), undervalued (priced too low), or in a normal range.
This version supports multiple securities and uses valuation parameters to help you assess the relative valuation of three securities simultaneously. It can help you determine the best times to enter (buy) or exit (sell) the market.

Getting Started
Step 1: Adding the Script to Your Chart
First, add the Larry Williams Valuation Index script to your chart on TradingView. The script is designed to work with any timeframe, but for best results, use weekly or daily timeframes for a longer-term perspective.
Step 2: Configuring Securities
The script allows you to analyze up to three different securities :
Security 1 (Default: DXY)
Security 2 (Default: GC1!)
Security 3 (Default: ZB1!)
You can enable or disable each security individually.
Custom Timeframe Option: You have the option to select a custom timeframe for analysis. This allows you to see whether the security is overvalued or undervalued in lower or higher timeframes. Note that this feature is experimental and has not been extensively tested. Larry Williams originally used the weekly timeframe to determine if a stock was overvalued or undervalued. By default, the indicator compares the current price with the security based on the selected timeframe, except if you choose to use a custom timeframe.
Pro Tip : New users can start with the default securities to understand the concept before using other assets.
Step 3: Valuation Index Settings
Short EMA Length : This is the short-term average used for calculations. A lower value makes it more responsive to recent price changes.
Long EMA Length : This is the long-term average, used to smooth the valuation over time.
Valuation Length (Default: 156) : Represents approximately three years of daily bars (as recommended by Larry Williams).
How is the Valuation Index Calculated?
The valuation calculation is done using a method called WVI (WillVal Index), which compares the current price of a security to the price of another correlated security. Here’s a step-by-step explanation:
1. Data Collection: The script takes the closing price of the security you are analyzing and the closing price of the correlated security.
2. Ratio Calculation : The ratio of the two prices is calculated:
Price Ratio = (Price of your security) / (Price of correlated security) * 100.
This ratio helps determine how expensive or cheap your security is compared to the correlated one.
3. Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) : The price ratio is used to calculate short-term and long-term EMAs (Exponential Moving Averages). EMAs are used to create smooth lines that represent the average price of a security over a specific period of time, with more weight given to recent data. By calculating both short-term and long-term EMAs, we can identify the trend direction and how the security is performing compared to its historical averages.
4. Valuation Index Calculation:
The Valuation Index is calculated as the difference between the short-term EMA and the long-term EMA. This difference helps to determine if the security is currently overvalued or undervalued:
A positive value indicates that the price is above its longer-term trend, suggesting potential overvaluation.
A negative value indicates that the price is below its longer-term trend, suggesting potential undervaluation.
5. Normalization:
To make the valuation easier to interpret, the calculated valuation index is then normalized using the highest and lowest values over the selected valuation length (e.g., 156 bars).
This normalization process converts the index into a percentage between 0 and 100, where higher values indicate overvaluation and lower values indicate undervaluation.
Step 4: Understanding Valuation Levels
The valuation levels indicate whether a security is currently undervalued, overvalued, or in a normal range.
Manual Levels : You can manually set the overvaluation and undervaluation thresholds (default is 85 for overvalued and 15 for undervalued).
Auto Levels : The script can automatically calculate these levels based on recent price action, allowing you to adapt to changing market conditions.
Auto Levels Calculation Explained:
The Auto Levels are calculated by taking the average of the valuation indices for all three securities (e.g., index1, index2, and index3).
The script then looks at the highest and lowest values of this average over a selected number of recent bars (e.g., 50 bars).
The overvaluation level is determined by taking the highest value and multiplying it by a multiplier (e.g., 5). Similarly, the undervaluation level is calculated using the lowest value and the multiplier.
These dynamic levels adjust according to recent price action, providing an adaptive approach to identifying overvalued and undervalued conditions.
Step 5: How to Use the Script to Make Trading Decisions
For new users, here's a step-by-step trading strategy you can use with the Valuation Index:
1. Identify Undervalued Opportunities
When two or more securities are in the undervalued range (below 15 for manual or below automatically calculated undervalue levels), wait for at least two of these securities to turn from undervalued to normal .
This transition indicates a potential buy opportunity .
2. Buying Signal
When at least two securities transition from undervalued to normal, you can consider buying the asset.
This indicates that the market may be recovering from undervalued conditions and could be moving into a growth phase.
3. Selling Signal
Exit when the price high closes below the EMA 21 (21-day exponential moving average).
Alternatively, if the valuation index reaches overvalued levels (above 85 manually or auto-calculated), wait for it to drop back to normal . This can be another point to exit the trade .
You can also use any other sell condition based on your r isk management strategy .
Alerts for Valuation Levels
The script includes alerts to notify you of changing market conditions:
To activate these alerts, follow these steps, referring to the provided screenshot with detailed steps:
1. Enable Alerts : Click on the settings gear icon on the script title in your chart. In the settings menu, scroll to the section labeled Alerts Settings .
Enable Alerts by checking the Enable Alerts box.
Set the Required Securities for Alert (default is 2 securities).
Choose the Alert Frequency : Selecting Once Per Bar Close will trigger alerts only at the close of each bar, ensuring you receive confirmed signals rather than potentially noisy intermediate signals.
2. Select Alert Type : Choose the type of alert you want to activate, such as Alert on Overvalued, Alert on Undervalued, Alert on Over to Normal , or Alert on Under to Normal .
3. Save Settings : Click OK to save your alert settings.
4. Add Alert on Indicator : Click the "..." (More button) next to the indicator name on the chart and select " Add alert on tradeviZion - WillVal ".
5. Create Alert : In the Create Alert window:

█ OVERVIEW
People often look an indicator in their technical analysis to enter a position. We may also need to look at the signals of one or more indicators to verify the signals given by some indicators. In this context, I developed a strategy to test whether it really works by choosing some of the indicators that capture trend changes with the same characteristics. Also, since the subject is to catch the trend change, I thought it would be right to include an indicator using the heikin ashi logic. By averaging and smoothing the market noise, Heiken Ashi makes it easier to detect the direction of the trend helps to see possible reversal points on the chart. However, it should be noted that Heiken Ashi is a lagging indicator.
I picked 5 different indicators (but their purpose are similar) and combined them to produce buy and sell signals based on your choice(not repaint). First of all let's get some information about our indicators. So you will understand me why i picked these indicators and what is the meaning of their signals.
1 — Coral Trend Indicator by LazyBear
Coral Trend Indicator is a linear combination of moving averages, all obtained by a triple or higher order exponential smoothing. The indicator comes with a trend indication which is based on the normalized slope of the plot. the usage of this indicator is simple. When the color of the line is green that means the market is in uptrend. But when the color is red that means the market is in downtrend.
As you see the original indicator it is simple to find is it in uptrend or downtrend.
So i added a code to find when the color of the line change. When it turns green to red my script giving sell signals, when it turns red to green it gives buy signals.
I hide the candles to show you more clearly what is happening when you choose only Coral Strategy. But sometimes it is not enough only using itself. Even if green dots turn to red it continues in uptrend. So we need a to look another indicator to approve our signal.
2 — SSL channel by ErwinBeckers
Known as the SSL , the Semaphore Signal Level channel is an indicator that combines moving averages to provide you with a clear visual signal of price movement dynamics. In short, it's designed to show you when a price trend is forming. This indicator creates a band by calculating the high and low values according to the determined period. Simply if you decide 10 as period, it calculates a 10-period moving average on the latest 10 highs. Calculate a 10-period moving average on the latest 10 lows. If the price falls below the low band, the downtrend begins, if the price closes above the high band, the uptrend begins. Lets look the original form of indicator and learn how it using.
If the red line is below and the green band is above, it means that we are in uptrend, and if it is on the opposite side, it means that we are in downtrend. Therefore, it would be logical to enter a position where the trend has changed. So i added a code to find when the crossover has occured.
As you see in my strategy, it gives you signals when the trend has changed. But sometimes it is not enough only using this indicator itself. So lets look 2 indicator together in one chart.
Look circle SSL is saying it is in downtrend but Coral is saying it has entered in uptrend. if we just look to coral signal it can misleads us. So it can be better to look another indicator for validating our signals.
3 — Heikin Ashi RSI Oscillator by JayRogers
The Heikin-Ashi technique is used by technical traders to identify a given trend more easily. Heikin-Ashi has a smoother look because it is essentially taking an average of the movement. There is a tendency with Heikin-Ashi for the candles to stay red during a downtrend and green during an uptrend, whereas normal candlesticks alternate color even if the price is moving dominantly in one direction. This indicator actually recalculates the RSI indicator with the logic of heikin ashi. Due to smoothing, the bars are formed with a slight lag, reflecting the trend rather than the exact price movement. So lets look the original version to understand more clearly. If red bars turn to green bars it means uptrend may begin, if green bars turn to red it means downtrend may begin.
As you see HARSI giving lots of signal some of them is really good but some of them are not very well. Because it gives so much signals Now i will change time period and lets look same chart again.
Now results are better because of heikin ashi's logic. it is not suitable for day traders, it gives more accurate result when using the time period is longer. But it can be useful to use this indicator in short time periods using with other indicators. So you may catch the trend changes more accurately.
4 — MACD DEMA by ToFFF
This indicator uses a double EMA and MACD algorithm to analyze the direction of the trend. Though it might seem a tough task to manage the trades with the help of MACD DEMA once you know how the proper way to interpret the signal lines, it will be an easy task.
This indicator also smoothens the signal lines with the time series algorithm which eventually makes the higher time frame important. So, expecting better results in the lower time frame can result in big losses as the data reading from the MACD DEMA will not be accurate. In order to understand the function of this indicator, you have to know the functions of the EMA also.
The exponential moving average tends to give more priority to the recent price changes. So, expecting better results when the volatility is very high is a very risky approach to trade the market. Moreover, the MACD has some lagging issues compared to the EMA, so it is super important to use a trading method that focuses on the higher time frame only. What does MACD 12 26 Close 9 mean? When the DEMA-9 crosses above the MACD(12,26), this is considered a bearish signal. It means the trend in the stock – its magnitude and/or momentum – is starting to shift course. When the MACD(12,26) crosses above the DEMA-9, this is considered a bullish signal. Lets see this indicator on Chart.
When the blue line crossover red line it is good time to buy. As you see from the chart i put arrows where the crossover are appeared.
When the red line crossover blue line it is good time to sell or exit from position.
5 — WaveTrend Oscillator by LazyBear
This is a technical indicator that creates high and low bands between two values. It then creates a trend indicator that draws waves with highs and lows within these boundaries. WaveTrend is a widely used indicator for finding direction of an asset.
Calculation period: number of candles used to calculate WaveTrend, defaults to 10. Averaging period: number of candles used to average WaveTrend, defaults to 21.
As you see in chart when the lines crossover occured my strategy gives buy or sell signals.

█ HOW TO USE
I hope you understand how the indicators I mentioned above work and what they are used for. Now, I will explain in detail how to use the strategy I have created.
When you enter the settings section, you will see 5 types of indicators. If you want to use the signals of the indicators, simply tick the box next to the indicators. Also, under each option there is an area where you can set the "lookback". This setting is a field that will make the signals overlap when you select more than one option. If you are going to trade with only one option, you should make sure that this field is 0. Otherwise, it may continue to generate as many signals as you choose.
Lets see in chart for easy understanding.
As you see chart, if i chose only HARSI with lookback 0 (HARSI and CORAL should be 1 minumum because of algorithm-we looking 1 bar before, others 0 because we are looking crossovers), it will give signals only when harsı bar's color changed. But when i changed Lookback as 7 it will be like this in chart.
Now i will choose 2 indicator with settings of their lookback 0.
As you see it will give signals when both of them occurs same time. But HARSI is an indicator giving very early signal so we can enter position 5-6 bars after the first bar color change. So i will change HARSI Lookback settings as 7. Lets look what happens when we use lookback option.
So it wil be useful to change lookback settings to find best signals in each time period and in each symbol. But it shouldnt be too high. Because you can be late to catch trend's starting.

Now lets see an example with 3 options are chosen with lookback option 11-1-5
Now lets talk about indicators settings. After strategy options you will see each indicators settings, you can change their settings as you desired. So each indicators signal will be changed according to your adjustment.
I left strategy options with default settings. You can change it manually as if you want.

█ LIMITATIONS: Don't rely on non-standard charts results. For example Heikin Ashi is a technical analysis method used with the traditional candlestick chart.Heikin Ashi vs. Candlestick Chart: The decisive visual difference between Heikin Ashi and the traditional chart is that Heikin Ashi flattens the traditional candlestick chart using a modified formula.
The primary advantage of Heikin Ashi is that it makes the chart more reader-friendly and helps users identify and analyze trends .
Because Heikin Ashi provides averaged price information rather than real-time price and reacts slowly to volatility — not suitable for scalpers and high-frequency traders. I added HARSI indicator as a supportive signal because it is useful with using CORAL and SSL channel indicators. If you change your candle types to Heikin Ashi , your profit will change in good way but dont rely on it.

If MADX+ ( green line - bullish MADX ) crosses above MADX- ( red line - bearish MADX ) we consider trend as bullish and vice versa..
There will be situations where MADX- and MADX+ cross multiple times in a short period of time -> that will mean that market indecision is happening and big move will most likely happen after it.
For the calculation of MADX+ and MADX- we need Moving Averages or Exponential Moving Averages with three specific sources ( high, close, low ).

It simplifies the calculation of stop loss price for stop loss method using the average true range (ATR).
For example;
You want to stop loss below 3 ATR. Let's assume the price is 100, the average true range is 5. You will multiply the average true range by 3 and subtract from the price and enter a stop loss order at the 85 price you have reached. Instead of doing this calculation every time, you just need to use this script and set the multiplier to 3. A stop loss line will be drawn below the price candles.
You can set the method to be used when averaging the true range. Methods you can use to average: EMA (exponentially moving average), HMA (hull moving average), RMA (moving average used in RSI), SMA (simple moving average), SWMA (symmetrically weighted moving average), VWMA (volume-weighted moving average), WMA (weighted moving average).
You can set the length to be used when averaging the true range.
You can set the multiplier to be used when determining the stop loss price.

In shorter time frames backtest results shows us TILL, WWMA, VIDYA (VAR) could be used to overcome whipsaws because they have less numbers of signals.
In longer time frames like daily charts WMA, Volume Weighted MACD V2, and MACDAS and SMA are more accurate according to backtest results.

Background
T3 Moving Average is the responsive form of traditional moving averages. Presented in 1998 by Tim Tillson, T3 is also known as the Tillson Moving Averages. The thought behind the development of this technical indicator was to improve lag and false signals, which can be present in moving averages.
Function
The T3 indicator performs better than the ordinary moving averages. The reason for this is T3 Moving Average is built with the EMA (exponential moving average).
Its calculation is based on the sum of single EMA, double EMA, Triple EMA, and so on.
This gives the following equation:
T3 = c1*e6 + c2*e5 + c3*e4 + c4*e3…
Where
e3 = EMA (e2, Period)
e4 = EMA (e3, Period)
e5 = EMA (e4, Period)
e6 = EMA (e5, Period)
a is the volume factor, with a default value of 0.7 but you can also use 0.618
c1 = a^3
c2 = 3*a^2 + 3*a^3
c3 =6*a^2 – 3*a – 3*a^3
c4 = 1 + 3*a + a^3 + 3*a^2
When a trend appears, the price action stays above or below the trend line and doesn’t get disturbed from the price swing. The moving of the T3 and the lack of reversals can indicate the end of the trend. The T3 Moving Average produces signals just like moving averages, and similar trading conditions can be applied. If the price is above the T3 Moving Average and the indicator moves upward, this is a sign of a bullish trend. Here we may look to enter long. Conversely, if the price action is below the T3 Moving Average and the indicator moves downwards, a bearish trend appears. Here we may want to look for a short entry.

Hey hi, this Script is a bit simple. Let's start with some definitions.
Moving Average (MA)
In statistics, a moving average is a calculation used to analyze data points by creating a series of averages of different subsets of the full data set. In finance, a moving average (MA) is a stock indicator that is commonly used in technical analysis . The reason for calculating the moving average of a stock is to help smooth out the price data by creating a constantly updated average price . This makes this tool one of the most important for technical analysis .
Forecasting
Forecasting is the process of making predictions based on past and present data and most commonly by analysis of trends . In the same way that the moving average (MA) the forecasting is something highly desirable, in this way we opted to develop an indicator that allows the use of up to 6 moving averages combined with the forecasting.
In addition to having the option of up to 6 moving averages, these can be of different types, being able to choose between up to 3 options (it is proposed to add more options later) which are listed below.
Exponential Moving Average ( EMA )
Simple Moving Average ( SMA )
Running Moving Average (RMA)
In addition to the above, 2 prediction methods were added, which are listed and detailed below.
Repetition. Makes forecast repeating the last candle M times.
Linear Regression ( LR ). Linear Regression does N period LR forecast averaged with length-N Moving Average
Daily and Weekly Moving Averages on Daily ChartFor the long term trend I use the 200 and 150 daily moving averages. The 200-day MA will be plotted as a black line. It is a no-go zone to buy anything trading below that.
The 150-day, or 30-week like Stan Weinstein uses, is plotted in orange.
Than I use the 50 day moving average but also the 10 week moving average. While those look similar there is a small difference which sometimes impacts the choice for selling a stock or holding on to it.
That slight difference is useful in different situations that’s why I want to have them both on my chart.
Both the 50-day and the 10-week are plotted as red lines on the chart. Since there’s only a small difference the same color gives a nicer view.
For shorter term trend I like to use the 20 and 10 day exponential moving averages. I tested these but also the commonly used 21, 9 and some other variations. But came to the conclusion that for me the 20EMA and 10EMA works best.
Both EMA’s are plotted in blue, where the 20EMA has a thicker line to easily see the difference.

This indicator removes one bar of lag from simple moving average crossover signals with a high degree of accuracy to give a slight but very real edge.
Moving Averages
A moving average simplifies price data by smoothing it out by averaging closing prices and creating one flowing line which makes seeing the trend easier.
Moving averages can work well in strong trending conditions, but poorly in choppy or ranging conditions.
Adjusting the time frame can remedy this problem temporarily, although at some point, these issues are likely to occur regardless of the time frame chosen for the moving average(s).
While Exponential moving averages react quicker to price changes than simple moving averages. In some cases, this may be good, and in others, it may cause false signals.
Moving averages with a shorter look back period (20 days, for example) will also respond quicker to price changes than an average with a longer look back period (200 days).
Trading Strategies — Moving Average Crossovers
Moving average crossovers are a popular strategy for both entries and exits. MAs can also highlight areas of potential support or resistance.
The first type is a price crossover, which is when the price crosses above or below a moving average to signal a potential change in trend.
Another strategy is to apply two moving averages to a chart: one longer and one shorter.
When the shorter-term MA crosses above the longer-term MA, it's a buy signal, as it indicates that the trend is shifting up. This is known as a "golden cross."
Meanwhile, when the shorter-term MA crosses below the longer-term MA, it's a sell signal, as it indicates that the trend is shifting down. This is known as a "dead/death cross."
MA and MA Cross Strategy Disadvantages
Moving averages are calculated based on historical data, and while this may appear predictive nothing about the calculation is predictive in nature.
Moving averages are always based on historical data and simply show the average price over a certain time period.
Therefore, results using moving averages can be quite random.
At times, the market seems to respect MA support/resistance and trade signals, and at other times, it shows these indicators no respect.
One major problem is that, if the price action becomes choppy, the price may swing back and forth, generating multiple trend reversal or trade signals.
When this occurs, it's best to step aside or utilize another indicator to help clarify the trend.
The same thing can occur with MA crossovers when the MAs get "tangled up" for a period of time during periods of consolidation, triggering multiple losing trades.
Ensure you use a robust risk management system to avoid getting "Chopped Up" or "Whip Sawed" during these periods.

I just created a strategy, in order to try to find the perfect parameters, timeframe and currency for it.
I will provide below the same description like he has in the publish of profit maximizer
Profit Maximizer - PMax combines the powerful sides of MOST (Moving Average Trend Changer) and SuperTrend (ATR price detection) in one indicator.
Backtest and optimization results of PMax are far better when compared to its ancestors MOST and SuperTrend. It reduces the number of false signals in sideways and give more reliable trade signals.
PMax is easy to determine the trend and can be used in any type of markets and instruments. It does not repaint.
The first parameter in the PMax indicator set by the three parameters is the period/length of ATR.
The second Parameter is the Multiplier of ATR which would be useful to set the value of distance from the built in Moving Average.
I personally think the most important parameter is the Moving Average Length and type.
PMax will be much sensitive to trend movements if Moving Average Length is smaller. And vice versa, will be less sensitive when it is longer.
As the period increases it will become less sensitive to little trends and price actions.
In this way, your choice of period, will be closely related to which of the sort of trends you are interested in.
We are under the effect of the uptrend in cases where the Moving Average is above PMax;
conversely under the influence of a downward trend, when the Moving Average is below PMax.
Built in Moving Average type defaultly set as EMA but users can choose from 8 different Moving Average types like:
SMA : Simple Moving Average
EMA : Exponential Movin Average
WMA : Weighted Moving Average
TMA : Triangular Moving Average

It integrates eleven kinds of adaptive moving average method. At first, I just wanted to make a ATR. Later, the price series ±N*ATR mult, to form two series. Candle Mode: There are three versions, original, two-color and four-color.
