ATR Trend Run - Signals Alerts SL and TP by Tech Store OnThe script uses several ATR formulas for entering/exiting trades, support/resistance lines to take TP1 (take profit 1) and another ATR formula for TP2 (take profit 2). Everything is fully configurable to your preference, and you can back-test it via TradingView. You can also configure the indicator for signals during US trading sessions (with or without power hour), as well as taking profits/stop-loss session time(s), as well as to close a position at the end of the trading session no matter what. Also, you can turn all of that off, so there are no trading session/end of day limits and each trade will run until it either hits SL, TP1, TP1 > back to entry, TP2. Note: indicator is set to skip consecutive/opposite signals, while you currently have a trade open > if you hit a trend – ride it to the end!
For example: If you will be day trading SPY and you wish to close your positions no matter what right before the market closes (3:45PM ET > 15min before closes): Make sure to checkbox “Intraday – Close Position Before Market Closes” in the strategy/indicator Settings, so that you are alerted soon before the market closes, if you wish to continue holding the position – leave this checkbox unchecked.
SL: SL is set to be slightly above/below the signal candle, which is best suited for this strategy.
Strategy Take Profit Approach
While the initial position open and SL hit is always based on a closed candle bar (can’t do otherwise, as otherwise you will have 10s of fake signal alerts), there are 2 ways on trading this strategy in terms of TP1 and TP1 taken > back to Entry, which is based off Alert type.
You can switch this as you like within the indicator settings, “Checked: TP1 taken > back to Entry per Price Touch | Unchecked: per Candle Close”.
Candle Close vs Price Touch: with the Default method - Candle Close for an alert for TP1 or if price comes back to Entry after TP1 is taken will only be triggered once candle bar fully closes crossing the area, while Price Touch will alert when price touches the area before candle bar closes.
For example: your trade is running well, you grab TP1 and the price reverses and hits your trade Entry area. With Price Touch – you are immediately alerted to close your trade with no loss and with TP1 profit. With Candle Close - you will receive an alert only once candle bar fully closes on top of the Entry crossing it backwards, meaning it may lower your TP1 profit or even completely reverse the trade into loss in case it will be a huge candle bar for any reason. However, it may touch the Entry area, looking like the price is reversing, but then continue per initial trade direction, sometimes becoming a trend. So, while Price Touch seem like a more conservative approach, Candle Close can give you much bigger profits if you catch a trend, but you can always change it via the Settings.
Note: TradingView back-testing engine does not have a feature to open/close orders IMMEDIATELY via Price Touch trigger, but only when the candle closes after price touches the scripted area/line/etc., so you for the most accurate results, test your strategy out via Candle Close setting. Otherwise, decide yourself. I personally like more Candle Close since I can test it out via back-testing with the most accurate results.
TP2 is set per Candle Close as often the ATR trailing stop line will be hit and bounced off, so it’s best to wait until candle actually breaks it/closes through it.
Note: If you will be observing the strategy LIVE, during LIVE candle bar movement – it will look weird, like it’s placing an order after order during any trigger – this seem like a TradingView bug, but is only observational, once the candle bar is closed and you refresh TradingView it will all look correct.
Back-Testing
If you wish to do some back-testing, just modify the strategy/indicator Settings:
-----1) STRATEGY: This is for back-testing/experimenting with the script inputs.
----------a. You can setup a start date (date, month, year) from which it will start opening back-test trades, select a position size and select TP1 size, the idea here is to close half (or whatever you choose) portion of the trade once you hit your TP1, then to either close at small profit or to catch a trend and close the second portion of the position long way ahead from Entry, otherwise it will alert you to close the position at TP2, if price comes back to Entry, at reversal signal or at the end of US trading session if the option for it is checked. If you wish to close the whole position at TP1, just enter the same amount for TP1 to match backtest position size. Otherwise you can experiment with TP1 sizing – try it out!
-----2) Feel free to experiment with ATR settings and with S&R Left/Right bars, you may be amazed how results will differ and find some really cool combinations!
-----3) Make sure you select/de-select “Intraday – Close Position Before Market Closes” setting depending on what you are back-testing and on which conditions
-----4) Note: If you wish to do some deep back-testing (1+ years), use the “Deep Backtesting” feature within Strategy Tester on the TradingView as otherwise it may show wrong results or even fail to compute the results
Add the alerts
-----Right-click anywhere on the TradingView chart
-----Click on Add alert
-----Condition: ATR Trend Run - Signals Alerts SL and TP, by Tech Store On
----------o Right underneath the condition click on the drop-down menu and select “alert() function calls only”
-----Expiration time: Whatever you wish
-----Alert actions: Whatever notifications you wish
-----Alert name: DO NOT TOUCH THIS
-----Hit “Create”
-----Note: If you change ANY Settings within the indicator – you must DELETE the current alert and create a new one per steps above, otherwise it will continue triggering alerts per old Settings!
- Note: If you add the alert while the script is currently “In Position” it will not know that. So either wait when there will be no position open at all or close your position partially if the bot opens it twice bigger or so in case per script the bot will think it is already in position.
Note: Because of the slippage and the order processing time between TradingView, AutoView and the Broker (it’s usually about a second or so), it is suggested to not use a timeframe lower than 1min. The script is working really well with 1M/3M/5M/H1/H4 timeframes per my back-testing, but feel free to explore via Strategy Back-testing what’s best for the instrument you wish to trade.
If you wish to try this out for a week or so – please reach out and I will give you access.

3Commas Bot DCA Backtester & Signals FREEThis is a DCA Strategy backtester + signals, built to emulate the 3Commas DCA bots. It uses your choice of 4 different buy signals, 2 of which can be adjusted in the settings. Everything is customizable so you can backtest specific settings with different buy signals and find the best performing strategy for your risk tolerance and capital. It can be used to backtest strategies on stocks as well, but just make sure your base order is larger than the share price for the entire backtesting range or it will not calculate properly.
You can use this template to code your own buy signals and then backtest them as a DCA strategy if you know some basic pine script.
The indicator shows all of your backtesting orders on the chart. The red line is your take profit level, the blue line is your average price level, the white line is your first order and the green lines are your average down orders. If you enable a stop loss in the settings your stop loss will be shown as an orange line once all of your average down orders have been hit, it will not be set until price has dipped below your covered trading range.
These levels update when things change during backtesting so you can visualize your strategy and how it would perform as well as see if your percentage deviation is large enough to cover dips. When backtesting trades are taken, the chart will show where they were taken(in backtesting) along with info on those trades such as the number each order is, the size of that order and the percentage deviation that order is from the initial buy.
SENDING SIGNALS TO 3COMMAS
Tradingview cannot sync this backtester to 3Commas and with the way alerts are setup for strategies on Tradingview, the best option for you to give signals to your bot would be to use this backtester to figure out what trigger you want to use and then setup that indicator separately to send alerts to your bot. All of the indicators used for signals in this backtester are available for free and can be configured to match this backtester and send alerts to 3Commas for you. Just make sure you set your alerts to once per bar close and don’t use less than a 15 second timeframe because then you could trigger the Tradingview threshold for alerts and get your alerts shut off.
You can also use this backtester with your own buy triggers if you know a little pine script. Just make copy of the script and code in your own buy signals and see how it backtests.
INFO PANEL FOR ANALYZING YOUR STRATEGY
The right hand side of the screen will show an info panel that shows a lot of different information so you can quickly see your bot settings and how it performed right on the screen.
In the top right corner you will see in purple your bot settings. These include your stoploss % if turned on, take profit %, average down order %, average down order % multiplier, volume multiplier, max number of orders allowed and size of your base order.
The top section of the first column “Current Trade” shows these stats: the open trade’s average price, the open trade’s take profit price, the open trade’s PNL, how far price is from your open tarde’s take profit level in percentage, your open position size and number of open orders.
The bottom section of the first column “Overall Performance” shows these stats: total number of trades taken during backtesting range, the largest amount of trades that were open at one time during backtesting, the max drawdown, the average number of bars per trade, gross profit, net profit, percent profit from your initial capital, current portfolio value and your initial capital.
CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS TO FIND THE PERFECT STRATEGY
Stoploss On/Off
This will turn your stoploss on or off. By default it is set to off and will not affect anything unless turned on.
Stoploss Percentage
This is the percentage below your final average down order price that will be set as a stoploss to keep your account from going too far in the red on big dips.
Take Profit Percentage - This is the percentage of profit you want the trade to hit before taking profit on your entire DCA trade. This level updates everytime you average down.
Average Down Percentage - This is the percentage that price has to drop from your initial order to initiate your first safety order. If the Average Down Percent Multiplier is set to 1 then this percentage will be the same for every average down order.
Average Down Percentage Multiplier - This multiplies your Average Down Percentage so each safety order needs a larger percentage deviation than the previous one. This keeps your buys closer together at the beginning and further apart when you hit more orders so you can extend your trading range but still be aggressive when price is going sideways.
Volume Multiplier Per New Order - This multiplies the size of each trade based on your base order. If you set it to a 2x multiplier then each average down order will be 2 times the size of the last one. So for example, a $100 base order with a 2x multiplier would have these values for the first 3 average down orders: 200, 400, 800.
Size Of Base Order - This is the size of your first position entry and will be used as a starting point for the volume multiplier. If your base order is $100 then it will buy $100 worth of whatever crypto you are backtesting this on. If you are looking at stock charts, you need to make sure your base order is higher than the share price across the entire backtesting range or it will not perform correctly.
Max Number Of Orders - This is the maximum number of orders the bot can take, including your base order. Adjust this to suit the amount of capital you are willing to allocate to your bot based on how much money it will require to run according to your bot settings.
TIPS ON HOW TO USE FOR BEST RESULTS
If you don’t have a lot of capital to work with, then use longer timeframes with a reasonable take profit percentage so that you don’t need a lot of average down orders. You can also try keeping the volume multiplier close to 1.
You can use the 3Commas dca bot settings page to see how much capital you will need for your strategy if you match it to the settings you have on this indicator. You can also check to see how much of a percentage deviation your bot is covering to make sure you have a reasonable range to trade in and orders to cover big dips. You can also check your coverage by seeing how far down the chart the green lines cover, which are your average down orders.
Make sure the initial capital in the properties tab of the settings has enough to cover all of your orders otherwise you will get unrealistic backtesting results. Also, make sure you leave the order size in the properties tab on contracts so it calculates your trades correctly. The only settings you need to touch in the properties tab is the initial capital. Unless you are trading somewhere that has lower commission fees, then you can change that to match, but leave all the other settings as is for it to function properly.
Increasing the volume multiplier will make your average price and take profit target follow the price action a lot closer as price falls, but it can also lead to having very large orders very quickly once you get into the 1.5-3x multiple range. Try using a high volume multiplier with less safety orders and you will get better results, however you need to have money on the sidelines to add on major dips to keep your bot turning a profit. Be very careful with this as greed and impatience will hurt your overall performance. This bot is meant to make money with lots of small wins so don’t get greedy and make sure you have enough money to cover large dips. If you are being aggressive with your bot, then I recommend only using 25% or less of your portfolio to trade aggressively and then use the smart trade feature on 3commas to add chunks of funds to your trades when price dips below your last safety order. Or if you want it to run without any supervision, then use lower volume multipliers and have lots of safety orders that can cover entire bear markets and still keep buying lower.
It’s a good idea to have some capital on the sidelines that you can add in when price dips quickly. This will help lower your average price and allow your bot to get out in profit quicker. 3Commas bot has a smart trade feature that will allow you to track your average price when adding extra funds and it will automatically update your other orders which is very convenient. Look at the longer timeframes when price dips and only add chunks at major areas where price is very likely to bounce. Or you can be aggressive when trading and add to your position when price dips and is at a likely bounce zone to maximize profits.
Only trade coins that have a good amount of liquidity as the larger your orders get, the harder it will be to sell if there isn’t much liquidity. Also, beware of how large your first order is as it will usually be a market order and can move the market if there is not much liquidity.
Since this bot takes a lot of trades and performs best when taking small profits consistently, you will need to factor in exchange fees. The bot is set to .5% commission(you can change this) on the buy and sell orders as most exchanges charge that amount. Some exchanges offer no fee trading on certain coins so be sure to look around for those so you can keep the commissions and maximize profits.
I strongly encourage you to try out a lot of different setting combinations across multiple different coins and do it across a few months to see how it would have performed under various market conditions. This will help you get a better idea of how much of a percentage deviation you’ll need to be able to cover to keep your bot running and making constant profits. You can also use the deep backtesting feature of the strategy panel to see how it would have done, but just beware that the info panel of the indicator will not reflect deep backtesting results, only the normal backtesting range.
MARKETS
This backtester can be used on any market including crypto, stocks, forex & futures. You just need to make sure your base order is larger than the share price when using this on things besides crypto.
TIMEFRAMES
This backtester can be used on all timeframes.
Channels Strategy [JoseMetal]============
ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This strategy is based on Bollinger Bands / Keltner Channel price "rebounds" (the idea of price bouncing from one band to another).
The strategy has several customizable options, which allows you to refine the strategy for your asset and timeframe.
You can customize settings for ALL indicators, Bollinger Bands (period and standard deviation), Keltner Channel (period and ATR multiplier) and ATR (period).
- AVAILABLE INDICATORS:
You can pick Bollinger Bands or Keltner Channels for the strategy, the chosen indicator will be plotted as well.
- CUSTOM CONDITIONS TO ENTER A POSITION:
1. Price breaks the band (low below lower band for LONG or high above higher band for SHORT).
2. Same as 1 but THEN (next candle) price closes INSIDE the bands.
3. Price breaks the band AND CLOSES OUT of the band (lower band for LONG and higher band for SHORT).
4. Same as 3 but THEN (next candle) price closes INSIDE the bands.
- STOP LOSS OPTIONS:
1. Previous wick (low of previous candle if LONG and high or previous candle if SHORT).
2. Extended band, you can customize settings for a second indicator with larger values to use it as STOP LOSS, for example, Bollinger Bands with 2 standard deviations to open positions and 3 for STOP LOSS.
3. ATR: you can pick average true ratio from a source (like closing price) with a multiplier to calculate STOP LOSS.
- TAKE PROFIT OPTIONS:
1. Opposite band (top band for LONGs, bottom band for SHORTs).
2. Moving average: Bollinger Bands simple moving average or Keltner Channel exponential moving average .
3. ATR: you can pick average true ratio from a source (like closing price) with a multiplier to calculate TAKE PROFIT.
- OTHER OPTIONS:
You can pick to trade only LONGs, only SHORTs, both or none (just indicator).
You can enable DYNAMIC TAKE PROFIT, which updates TAKE PROFIT on each candle, for example, if you pick "opposite band" as TAKE PROFIT, it'll update the TAKE PROFIT based on that, on every single new candle.
- Visual:
Bands shown will depend on the chosen indicator and it's settings.
ATR is only printed if used as STOP LOSS and/or TAKE PROFIT.
- Recommendations:
Recommended on DAILY timeframe , it works better with Keltner Channels rather than Bollinger Bands .
- Customization:
As you can see, almost everything is customizable, for colors and plotting styles check the "Style" tab.
Enjoy!

- OTRAS OPCIONES:
- Visual:

This is the script for the series called "Sniper".
*** What is "Sniper" Series? ***
"Sniper" series is the project that I’m going to start.
In "Sniper" Series, I’m going to "snipe and shoot" the youtuber’s strategy: to find out whether the youtuber’s video about strategy is "true or false".
Specifically, I’m going to do the things below.
1. Implement "Youtuber’s strategy" into pinescript code.
2. Then I will "backtest" and prove whether "the strategy really works" in the specific ticker (e.g. BTCUSDT) for the specific timeframe (e.g. 5m).
3. Based on the backtest result, I will rate and judge whether the youtube video is "true" or "false", and then rate the validity, reliability, robustness, of the strategy. (like a lie detector)
*** What is the purpose of this series? ***
1. To notify whether the strategy really works for the people who watched the youtube video.
2. To find and build my own scalping / day trading strategy that really works.
**********************************************************************************
*** Strategy Description ***
This strategy is from " QQE MOD + supertrend + ssl hybrid" by korean youtuber "코인투데이".
"코인투데이" claimed that this strategy will make you a lot of money in any crypto ticker in 15 minute timeframe.
### Entry Logic
1. Long Entry Logic
- Super Trend Short -> Long
- close > SSL Hybrid baseline upper k
- QQE MOD should be blue
2. Short Entry Logic
- Super Trend Long -> Short
- close < SSL Hybrid baseline lower k
- QQE MOD should be red
### Exit Logic
1. Long Exit Logic
- Super Trend Long -> Short
2. Short Entry Logic
- Super Trend Short -> Long
### StopLoss
1. Can Choose Stop Loss Type: Percent, ATR, Previous Low / High.
2. Can Chosse inputs of each Stop Loss Type.
### Take Profit
1. Can set Risk Reward Ratio for Take Profit.
- To simplify backtest, I erased all other options except RR Ratio.
- You can add Take Profit Logic by adding options in the code.
2. Can set Take Profit Quantity.
### Risk Manangement
1. Can choose whether to use Risk Manangement Logic.
- This controls the Quantity of the Entry.
- e.g. If you want to take 3% risk per trade and stop loss price is 6% below the long entry price,
then 50% of your equity will be used for trade.
2. Can choose How much risk you would take per trade.
### Plot
1. Added Labels to check the data of entry / exit positions.
2. Changed and Added color different from the original one. (green: #02732A, red: #D92332, yellow: #F2E313)
3. SuperTrend and SSL Hybrid Baseline is by default drawn on the chart.
4. If you check EMA filter, EMA would be drawn on the chart.
5. Should add QQE MOD indicator manually if you want to see QQE MOD.
**********************************************************************************
*** Rating: True or False?
### Rating:
→ 3.5 / 5 (0 = Trash, 1 = Bad, 2 = Not Good, 3 = Good, 4 = Great, 5 = Excellent)
### True or False?
→ True but not a 'perfect true'.
→ It did made a small profit on 15 minute timeframe. But it made a profit so it's true.
→ It worked well in longer timeframe. I think super trend works well so I will work on this further.
### Better Option?
→ Use this for Day trading or Swing Trading, not for Scalping. (Bigger Timeframe)
→ Although the result was not good at 15 minute timeframe, it was quite profitable in 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h, 1d timeframe.
→ Crypto like BTC, ETH was ok.
→ The result was better when I use EMA filter.
### Robust?
→ Yes. Although result was super bad in 5m timeframe, backtest result was "consistently" profitable on longer timeframe (when timeframe was bigger than 15m, it was profitable).
→ Also, MDD was good under risk management option on.
**********************************************************************************
*** Conclusion?
→ I recommend you not to use this on short timeframe as the youtuber first mentioned.
→ In my opinion, I can use on longer timeframe like 2h or bigger with EMA filter, stoploss and risk management.

Ultimate Moving Average Strategy CreatorHave you ever wanted to create your OWN strategy, but don't have coding experience? Well now you can.
With simple settings, but millions of potential strategies and combinations, this indicator / strategy lets YOU make ALL the rules.
Start by choosing up to 4 moving averages from all the various types - Simple, Exponential, Hull, Volume-Weighted, etc. Choose the period and choose price source.
Now the fun part.
You select your values to compare and how to compare them. Want to test if the Fast Moving Average crosses over the Slow Moving Average? No problem. Want to add an additional test to check the closing price is greater than the Fast Moving Average? Done.
With additonal options to set take profit % and stop loss %, as well as a date range and the option for 'Long Only' positions, you can instantly see the results of any strategy in the strategy tester, then simply make an adjustment and refine the criteria without having to know or understand any of the complex coding and scripting.
I have tried many popular moving average strategies, but irrespective of the results, the thing that stood out to me was how inflexible they were. If it was designed to test a triple crossover, that's all it could do. With this indicator, literally anything is possible and modifying the parameters couldn't be easier.
Monthly Returns of a Strategy in a ChartIt's a simple example of how you can present your strategy's monthly performance in a chart.
You maybe know that there is no support of these kind of charts in TradingView so this chart is actually a table object under the hood.
Table visual appearance is customizable, you can change:
Location
Bar Width / High
Colors
Thanks to @MUQWISHI for hard work, for helping me coding it.
It's not about the strategy itself but the way you display returns on your chart. So pls don't critique my choice of the strategy and its performance 🙂

Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
Due to various factors, including changing market conditions, the strategy may no longer perform as well as in historical backtesting.
This post and the script don’t provide any financial advice.
ALMA/EMA/SRSI Strategy + IndicatorBack with another great high hit rate strategy!!
Disclaimer* This strategy was sampled using source code written by @ClassicScott , as referred to in the script, there is a clear line where the source code was scripted by myself.
This Strategy consists of three key factors, the ALMA, EMA crossover, and a Stochastic Rsi
ALMA: The Alma is the step line shown, turning green and red at select times. This average value gives general oversight of the macro movement of price action. and this particular one was coded by Mr.ClassicScott.
EMA crossover: At the input screen you are given an option of the fast and slow ema's. The default is solely for the hit rate and correlation to the Alma of this strategy. The arrows you see depicted on the chart are the crossover events happening.
Stochastic Rsi: The Stochastic Rsi is a stochastic value, using data sampled from the rsi. The use of this indicator in my strategy is to prevent entries when too overbought and oversold, as well as closures and vice versa, to prevent holding bags either way.
Fixed % TP: In the input screen you are given a take profit and stop loss percentage, for good R/R the hit rate will take a notch down, but with no R/R it will be near perfect.
How to use this:
Add it to your chart to get the strategy inputs. (The strategy is really only useful on a 15min TF. However the indicator within it can be used on anything at anytime!)
Watch the yellow and aqua moving averages, these are your ema's and crossover's will trigger signals based on your integer inputs.
Find Correlation between other leading indicators, as well as crossover's down/up and a red/green alma.
DO NOT use the arrows as buy/sell signals. These are simply to show ema's are crossing under or over. Momentum indicator's paired with this can be useful to determine if it could be a buy signal or sell signal.

Mean Reverse Grid Algorithm - The Quant ScienceMean Reverse Grid Algorithm - The Quant Science™ is a dynamic grid algorithm that follows the trend and run a mean reverting strategy on average percentage yield variation.
DESCRIPTION
Trades on different price levels of the grid, following the trend. The grid consists of 10 levels, 5 higher and 5 lower. The grids together create a channel, this channel represents the total percentage change where the algorithm works. The channel also represents the average change yields of the asset, identified during analysis with the "Yield Trend Indicator".
The algorithm can be set long or short.
1. Long algorithm: opens long positions with 20% of the capital every time the price crossunder a lower grid, for a maximum total of 5 simultaneous trades. Trades are closed each time the price crossover a higher grid.
2. Short algorithm: opens short positions with 20% of the capital every time the price crossover a higher grid, for a maximum total of 5 simultaneous trades. Trades are closed each time the price crossunder a lower grid.
USER INTERFACE SETTING
The user configures the percentage value of each grid from the user interface.
AUTO TRADING COMPLIANT
With the user interface, the trader can easily set up this algorithm for automatic trading. Automating it is very simple, activate the alert functions and enter the links generated by your broker.
BACKTESTING INCLUDED
With the user interface, the trader can adjust the backtesting period of the strategy before putting it live. You can analyze large periods such as years or months or focus on short-term periods.
NO LIMIT TIMEFRAME
This algorithm can be used on all timeframes and is ideal for lower timeframes.
GENERAL FEATURES
Multi-strategy: the algorithm can apply either the long strategy or the short strategy.
Built-in alerts: the algorithm contains alerts that can be customized from the user interface.
Integrated grid: the grid indicator is included.
Backtesting included: automatic backtesting of the strategy is generated based on the values set.
Auto-trading compliant: functions for auto trading are included.

DCA Average Arbitrage - The Quant ScienceDCA Average Arbitrage - The Quant Science™ is a quantitative algorithm based on a DCA model that uses averaging to create a statistical arbitrage system.
DESCRIPTION
The algorithm can be set long or short.
1. Long algorithm: opens long positions with 100% of the capital every time the price deviates negatively for a certain percentage distance from the average.
2. Short algorithm: opens short positions with 100% of capital every time the price deviates positively for a certain percentage distance from the average.
The closing of positions depends on the parameters activated by the user. The user can set the closing on the reverse condition and/or add functions such as stop loss, take profit and closing after a certain bar period.
USER INTERFACE SETTING
The user chooses the long or short direction and sets the parameters for average as length, source and percent distance.

MA trading Tool V2.0Background to the tool
The tool was built out of frustration. Having traded for many years with a reasonable level of success I was always frustrated that my trading never went up a level. The world of trading is filled with people having so much more success than me and this level of FOMO really bothered me and resulted in inconsistency and countless hours sitting in front of a screen, hoping for the best. I also became a little bit of an indicator junkie - was there a holy grail indicator out there for me? I always felt that as a retail trader I was behind the curve. I started to investigate how the major market participants trade and make money and I was astounded at the level of success that they get from creating strategies and sticking to it. The market is driven largely by a "black boxes" which, for us retail traders are outside of our ability to access. I wanted to build a tool that could give me a traders edge.
Another factor that has always bothered me was when reading investing books there is a general assumption that a standard entry, say 8/13 cross over, works on all stocks. However, it is not the case and it can be frustrating for a trader using a set up and not realizing that the set up was/is the problem, not the trader. This realization alone has made a huge impact on my trading. The big boxes that control the market know this already.
Also, a lot of indicators that are available don’t take advantage of the backtesting capability provided in Tradingview. It is fairly simple to find 8-9 trades where a set up worked and then fall into the trade of assuming that it cannot fail. Knowing which set ups work and how frequently it will print will change the way that you trade.
The goal with the tool is to identify setups that have worked in the past with a high degree of profitability, high profit factor and low drawdown and using the planning tool allows you to customize the setup to find exactly what you are looking for across any tradeable asset on TradingView.
Over the past 20 years I have realized the following:
1) Not all entries and signals work the same on all stocks and knowing the historical performance of a strategy is critical
2) Not having a plan in advance lowers your probability of success
3) Developing consistency in analysis is critical
4) Developing confidence in your own plan is more important than whose trades you try to copy
5) Having 30 indicators does not help you trade better - it leads to more frustration
So here is the product of these realisations:
1) The tool looks across the most common entry strategies (RMA / EMA / SMA / HMA / WMA cross on 5 dimensions of type and 5 common crossovers) and can be used on 19 different time frames giving you guidance on what the best set up is for the stock you are analysing
2) It incorporates volatility into the strategy – when stocks are trading outside of a predetermined volatility band, a trade will not be entered. This accommodates traders who tend to get shaken out of trades too early.
3) It looks at the impact of “buying the dip” – often a common strategy employed by many traders which now can be backtested and reviewed to see if it actually helped or hindered the trade.
4) It measures your trade plan against your R – what you are willing to risk – and calculates your target profit based on your R multiple
5) It provides a non repaint signal on your base strategy and provides you with signals to trade smaller or shorter signals within the bigger strategy.
6) This includes elements from the Squeeze Tool namely the histogram and. stochastic entry and exit criteria
There are some additional visual tools:
• Squeeze signals - I am a big fan of the TTM squeeze however the Squeeze by itself can be hard to trade. Seeing a squeeze fire long on a chart can add to trade confidence.
• Seeing zones of support and resistance rather than single lines can also give you some leeway in terms of not getting pushed out of a trade too soon.
The backtester is always reviewed on a 2 to 3 year period to get an understanding of win rate %, profit ratio and average duration of trade. As an option trader knowing that a high probability move is playing out allows me to make sure that I don’t undercut the time frame for the expiration of the option relative to the historical average duration of a trade. Backtesting on shorter times is unrealistic.
Key benefits
1) It will save you a ton of time. I don’t have to sit in front of a screen watching ticks each day. I can plan for an entry, set an alert for a trade and when the conditions are met the TradingView system sends me a message and I will go and confirm a trade, execute it, set my alerts for control and move on with my life.
2) It allows me to review trade ideas in a consistent manner using the best trade plan and set up for a stock.
3) It forces me to be patient and not panic (always a good thing). With an adjustable volatility feature I can modify the volatility band in the trade plan to accommodate choppy market conditions.
4) It looks at both sides of the market (long and short) and you can calculate the impact of being market neutral or having a directional bias.
I hope this tool helps you to achieve some degree of peace in your trading.

3C Crossover with TTP & TSLThis is not a set and forget strategy. It needs constant tweaking to maintain a high winrate. Also what works on one pair can be horrible on another.
This strategy works best on the 1 min or 5 min TF but also works well on the 15 min. Haven't done any testing in higher TF's as im only interested in scalping.
If enabled you can retrive data for the filters on any TF.
The strategy do not repaint.
You do not need a 3c subscription to run this strategy as the bot turns on and off the bot itself.
Instructions for the 3commas connector:
1. First, you need to prepare 3commas Long/Short bots that will only listen to custom TV signals.
2. Inputs for the 3commas bot can be found at the end of the user inputs.
3. Once you have entered the required details into the inputs, turn on 3commas comments. They should appear on the chart (looks messy).
4. Now you can add the alert where you should paste the 3commas Webhook URL: 3commas.io
5. For the alert message text insert the placeholder {{strategy.order.comment}} and delete the rest. 6. Once the alert is saved, you can turn off those 3commas comments to have a clearer chart.
7. With a new alert, the bot and trade should launch.
Long or Short trades are determined with a crossing of the fast MA over the slow MA for Long and the opposite for Short. By checking Close position on MA cross the deal will close on a crossover/under of the 2 MA's
You can select from various different MA's and of course lenghts. You can add both EMA filter on any lenght aswell as ATR to determine to go long or short.
Using the MA gap can help you to not enter trades in a low volatile ranging market.
The RSI filter, sets the maximum RSI threshold for a long position and the minimum for a short. By default and what i recomend is that you enter Longs when RSI is above 50 and shorts when RSI are below 50.
-You can set confirmation of the trade direction with RSI , i.e. for Long the RSI must rise a specified number of bars back, vice versa for Short.
Enabling the pullback filter is great to avoid Longing tops and Shorting bottoms.
Stop loss can be set be either a fixed percentage or by using ATR
Take profit can be set by using percentage, ATR or RiskReward ratio(RR). if you use ATR as a stoploss i recomend using RR as the TP.
Yu can choose to trail the TP with either Percentage or ATR
Whats ahead. I really want to incorporate RSI divergencies, but haven't figured out how yet. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Have a look at my other strategies. They are similar to this but works abit differently.
3C MACD & RSI Scalper no repaintThis is not a set and forget strategy. It needs constant tweaking to maintain a high winrate. Also what works on one pair can be horrible on another.
This strategy works best on the 1 min or 5 min TF but also works well on the 15 min. Haven't done any testing in higher TF's as im only interested in scalping.
If enabled you can retrive data on the MACD and RSI from any timeframe.
The strategy do not repaint.
You can filter on sessions as well as days. Often trading during say only the EU times and not trading during weekends yields better results. This is because weekeds and eg. the Asia Sessions are alot less volatile.
Trades should only happen close to the crossovers.
You can select from various different MA's and of course lenghts. I often find that using HEMA as the fast MA and DEMA as the slow give more trades while also maintaining a high winrate.
Then for Long we use the MACD indicator where we look for high peaks in negative values for Long and vice versa for Shorts. These should be significantly higher than other peaks (or if you will lower peaks for a Long).
The key is to detect high peaks on the histogram, which we will try to achieve by checking if the last 2 values were higher than X bars back. If you want to make it even more specific, then you can turn on the additional checkbox which compares the current value to the average value of X bars back, and if it is greater than, say, 72% the value of the average then it's ok to enter the trade.
The RSI filter, sets the maximum RSI threshold for a long position and the minimum for a short. By default and what i recomend is that you enter Longs when RSI is above 50 and shorts when RSI are below 50.
-You can set confirmation of the trade direction with RSI, i.e. for Long the RSI must rise a specified number of bars back, vice versa for Short.
Enabling the pullback filter is great to avoid Longing tops and Shorting bottoms.
Whats ahead. I really want to incorporate RSI divergencies, but haven't figured out how yet. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Have a look at my other strategies. They are similar to this but works abit differently.
The 3 strike line and the engulfing candles are not something that has an impact on the script yet, and might never be. But i do like to turn them on for a visual to see if the trade the strategy opened is a good one.
Rajiv Patel Strategy with ATR RSI CCI MACD EMA IchimokuRajiv Patel Strategy with alerts helps to identify entry and exit levels based on following Indicators.
1. ATR Trailing Stoploss
2. RSI
3. CCI
4. MACD
5. EMA
6. SMA
7. Ichimoku
This Strategy is fully customizable as per your trading style. Below are some examples of how once can use the Strategy.
Options Based on Each Indicator Individually.
1. ATR Trailing Stoploss – When price is above ATR Trailing Stoploss line its in buy zone and when below its in sell zone. The setting of ATR Trailing Stoploss are customizable like ATR Periods and ATR Multiplier. Suggest increasing ATR Multiplier with lower timeframe. Aggressive buyers can decrease ATR Period in higher timeframe as per trade plan.
2. RSI – RSI above EMA Length is buy zone and below is sell zone. Conservative buyers can increase the RSI & EMA Length period while aggressive and reduce. Higher the timeframe gives better results.
3. CCI – Similar to RSI the buy zone is when CCI crosses above EMA Length. Again CCI & EMA Length can be customised as per trade plan. Higher timeframe is advised.
4. MACD – MACD parameters default settings are based on trying to get early entry. One can change to 26, 13 and 9 in lower timeframe. When MACD crosses above Signal line its buy zone and when below its sell zone.
5. EMA – 5 EMA lines and 2 SMA lines can be plotted. The settings of both EMA lines and SMA lines can be adjusted based on timeframe and trade plan.
6. EMA – EMA line 1 and 2 can be used as buy when EMA1 crosses above EMA2 and sell when below. The length of EMA1 & 2 is adjustable. Suggest modifying based on timeframe and trade plan.
7. SMA – SMA1 can also be used as solo indicator. If price is below SMA1 then its no buy area and if above, then in buy area. SMA2 can be used to identify if trend is upward or downward based on user settings.
8. Ichimoku – It predicts price movements bit like moving averages. Offers a unique perspective of support and resistance levels.
Conversion Line (Tenkan Sen)
- Measures Short Term Trend
- Signals an area of minor support and resistance
Base Line (Kijun Sen)
- Measures Medium term trend
- Used as Trailing Stop Level
Lagging Span (Chikou Span)
- Used for confirmation of signals
- Can also serve as Support and Resistance Level
Kumo Cloud
- Formed of two lines: Senkou Span A (Green Line) and Senkou Span B (Red Line)
- Dynamic Support and Resistance
HOW TO READ ICHIMOKU INDICATOR
Conversion Line (Tenkan Sen)
- If Price is above the Conversion Line = Short term upward movement

Lagging Span
- The Evolution of the current price action in relation to previous price action
- If the Lagging span is above the current price = Bullish Bias
- If the Lagging span is below the current price = Bearish Bias
- Lagging span near the current price = Trading range
Kumo Cloud
- Dynamic Support and Resistance based upon price action.
- The longer the price stays below/above the Kumo cloud, stronger the trend
- When the cloud is wide, the expected support or resistance is strong
- When the cloud is thin, the expected support or resistance is weak
- Never trade when price is inside Kumo Cloud
HOW TO TRADE WITH ICHIMOKU CLOUD
1. Baseline and conversion Line crossover (Lagging Span as a Filter)
crossover (conversion line, baseline) = Buy
crossunder (conversion line, baseline) = Sell
FILTER
Crossover (conversion line, baseline) and lagging span is Bullish (i.e above the price) = Buy

2. Baseline - Conversion line crossover (Kumo cloud Filter)
Crossover (conversion line, baseline) above the Kumo Cloud = Strong Buy
Crossover (conversion line, baseline) below the Kumo cloud = Weak Buy
Crossunder (conversion line, baseline) below the Kumo Cloud = Strong Sell
Crossunder (conversion line, baseline) above the Kumo Cloud = Weak Sell
3. Kumo Cloud Breakout
When the price enters the Kumo Cloud, and breaks its Upper wall upward = Bullish Signal
When the price enters the Kumo Cloud, and breaks its Lower wall downward = Bearish Signal
4. Kumo Cloud Crossover
When Span A crosses the Span B from below to the upside and prices are positioned above the Kumo Cloud = Strong Buy Signal
When Span A crosses the Span B from upside to the bottom and the prices are positioned below the Kumo Cloud = Strong Sell
When Span A crosses Span B from bottom to the upside and prices are positioned below the Kumo Cloud = Weak Buy Signal
When Span A crosses Span B from the upside to the bottom and the prices are positioned above the Kumo Cloud = Weak Sell Signal
Options Based on Combining Multiple Indicators.
One can select and combine multiple conditions based on above understanding of individual indicator to create a strong Long Entry, Short Entry, Long Exit and Short Exit. This Strategy also provides Alert signal for all entry and exit based on the combinations of conditions selected.
Since this is a strategy one can use STRATEGY TESTER to understand how the strategy has performed over the selected time span. This however does not guarantee similar results in present or future trades.
Please enter commission or total charges charged by your broker in “Properties” Tab of the strategy. Modify all parameters of “Properties” Tab as needed. Note, this can affect the performance results of the strategy.
Need to be very careful in selecting conditions as it becomes very complex with many options available.
Note:
Triangles at the top and bottom indicates the zone. Can be turned on / off using condition “Show Conditions Visually”.
1. Red triangle at top pointing down with ‘S’ indicates in Long Exit zone.
2. Red triangle at top pointing down with ‘EnS’ indicates in Enter Short zone.
3. Green triangle at bottom pointing up with ‘B’ indicates in Long Entry zone.
4. Green triangle at bottom pointing up with ‘ExS’ indicates in Exit Short zone.
5. When the is no triangle either at top or bottom means there is no zone.
Send me your suggestions, will try to incorporate the same in next revision.
5-8-13 EMAs Strategy (Andrew's Trading Channel)============
ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This strategy was designed by "Andrew's Trading Channel" (credits to him for the base strategy).
A lot of improvements have been added to the strategy, more conditions, trailing stop, custom stop loss and take profit, everything explained below.
- CONDITIONS FOR ENTERING A LONG:
EMA 5 crossovers EMA 8.
- EXIT LONG:
EMA 8 crossovers EMA 8 and closing price goes below EMA 13.
- CONDITIONS FOR ENTERING SHORT:
EMA 8 crossovers EMA 5.
- EXIT SHORT:
EMA 5 crossovers EMA 8 and closing price goes above EMA 13.
- Visual:
All EMAs are visible (5, 8 and 13 periods) with different and customizable colors/width.
Position start price, take profit, stop loss and trailing stop (if present) are shown automatically.
Background color shows green when LONG conditions are met (and of course, position is opened on the next candle), same for SHORT but red.
- Usage and recommendations:
As this is a coded strategy, you don't even have to check for indicators, just open and close trades as the strategy shows.
There're various customizable settings like optional take profit/stop loss, trailing stop (both based on ATR or any of the EMAs), open only LONGs/SHORTs or both, date range...
Take profit and stop loss ATR default values have been tested for scalping on 5 min charts, however feel free to check strategy results and increase the winning rate/profit for your favorite asset.
- Customization:
As usual I like to make as many aspects of my indicators/strategies customizable, indicators, colors etc., feel free to ask if you feel that something that should be configurable is missing or if you have any ideas to optimize the strategy.

Como siempre me gusta hacer personalizables todos los aspectos de mis indicadores/estrategias, indicadores, colores, etc., siéntase libre de preguntar si cree que falta algo que debería ser configurable o si tiene alguna idea para optimizar la estrategia.
Customizable OCC Non Repainting Scalper Bot v7.0bThis strategy is intended to be used on an automated trading platform and should be run on a one minute chart for fastest confirmations and signal relay to crypto automation platform. The strategy has been modded to only go long at this time to focus on profitability for one direction. The open long and close long text fields allow you to use your own webhook message for this purpose.
I have spent quite a bit of time and I figured I would put it out to the community to share the work and also get some feedback.
Ok, so let me say that I have done absolutely everything I can to make the strategy not repaint while still maintaining it's profitability. It has been a challenge so I am publishing this to the community to help test this.
What I have observed: the strategy will not repaint in real time. That is, if you have the chart open and keep it open, the signals are the same as the ones that are sent out by the strategy. In certain cases, when I reload the chart- the signals might be off from what was sent. In some ways, that is repainting, but it is repainting based on losing the real time data and recalculating from a different set of bars- since I am running it on a one minute chart then the start becomes different when you refresh.
To address repainting while keeping the strategy calculating as quickly as possibly I have altered the logic in the following ways:
I have made an assumption which might not work for everyone- at the first tick of the next bar, you can almost safefly assume in crypto that if you are looking at the previous bar for information, the open of the current bar was the close of the previous bar. This for the most part holds true in crypto with good liquidity. If you are trading a pair that jumps around due to low volume- this might not be the strategy to use. I might publish a different version with a different logic.
I have altered the security repaint to use isbarconfirmed, so at the very end of the bar (as soon as the bar is confirmed), we recalculate to the higher time frames. So as soon as the data is available, it is at that point that we can then safely calculate higher time frames. This is unique and experimental, but seems to do well at creating good signals for entry.
I have employed my own intervals by utilizing the resolution as an integer (used by the previous authors)- but in this case, I use the interval to take a snapshot of the higher time frame. With open close cross, the different moving averages can cause the repainting as they change to show the exact point of the cross. The interval feature I created minimizes this by utilizing the previous bar info until the interval is closed and then we recalculate the variants. You can use the interval offset feature to denote which minute is the one that starts and ends the interval. So for instance, Trading View uses minue 1 and minute 31 for 30 minute intervals. If you offset your 30 minute interval would start on minute 16 and do its calculations based on the last 30 minutes,
As with most of my scripts, I have started using filters and a "show data" feature that will give you the ability to see the values of indicators that you cannot plot in the overlay. This allows you to figure out how to filter losing trades or market conditions.
I have also added a trailing stop and created a fixed stop loss as seems to perform better than the original occ strategy. The original one seemed to repaint enough that it would close too quickly and not give the posiition enough time to become profitable. In certain cases where there was a large move, it would perform well, but for the most part the trades would not close profitably even though the backtest said that it did - probably due to the delay in execution and pinescript not having a confirmation on what the actual position price was.
This is still in beta mode, so please forward test first and use at your own risk.
If you spot repaint issues, please send me a message and try to explain the situation.

Gap Reversion StrategyToday I am releasing to the community an original short-term, high-probability gap trading strategy, backed by a 20 year backtest. This strategy capitalizes on the mean reverting behavior of equity ETFs, which is largely driven by fear in the market. The strategy buys into that fear at a level that has historically mean reverted within ~5 days. Larry Connors has published useful research and variations of strategies based on this behavior that I would recommend any quantitative trader read.
What it does:
This strategy, for 1 day charts on equity ETFs, looks for an overnight gap down when the RSI is also in/near an oversold position. Then, it places a limit order further below the opening of the gapped-down day. It then exits the position based on a higher RSI level. The limit buy order is cancelled if the price doesn't reach your limit price that day. So, the larger you make the gap and limit %, the less signals you will have.
Features:
Inputs to allow the adjustment of the limit order %, the gap %, and the RSI entry/exit levels.
An option to have the limit order be based on a % of ATR instead of a % of asset price.
An optional filter that can turn-off trades when the VIX is unusually high.
A built in stop.
Built in alerts.
Disclaimer: This is not financial advice. Open-source scripts I publish in the community are largely meant to spark ideas that can be used as building blocks for part of a more robust trade management strategy. If you would like to implement a version of any script, I would recommend making significant additions/modifications to the strategy & risk management functions. A simple, but effective High Freq Strategy script based on MACD or RSI trend, with extra customizable Alert Messages for Bots.
WHAT IT DOES
This script (works best at lower TimeFrames) just follow the trend of MACD or RSI on your asset.
Why it should work? Because in an upper trend, there are more chance of green candles than reds. And in dump trend there are more chance of red candles than greens.
While trend is positive, it will try to open Long orders as fast as possible at market price.
While trend is negative, it will try to open Short orders as fast as possible at market price.
HOW TO SETUP YOUR PREFERENCES
Capital : Insert a % of Margin you want to use for your positions (usually 30% is quite good)
Leverage : Choose leverage based on your plans
Trail Tick @ : This value (in Tick) tell the script "when" the "Trail Stop" order must be activated (from the Entry price)
Offset Tick @ : This is the price (in Tick) from the Trail Stop Price activated. Basically it is a Stop Loss that follow the price at a fixed distance.
SL Tick @ : Set a Stop Loss at amount Tick distance from the Entry Price. (Let's call it a Safety Stop Loss for bad decisions...)
TP Tick @ : Set a Take Profit at amount Tick distance from the Entry Price. Sometimes is better to exit in full Gain than keep positions.
Strategy : You can choose a Only Long, Only Short or Long+Short sametime strategy.
with MACD or RSI : You can try the strategy applied on MACD or applied on customizable RSI EMA
EMA : If you choosed RSI EMA, you can set any value for your testing (usually 80-120 works very nice)
Exit order after bars : Some Exchanges / Brokers apply fixed cost, and a strategy too fast could not be productive. This set will let you to delay the Exit Order on already Opened positions.
Keep Stop Loss active : If you are planning a delay for Exit Orders, sometime could be useful to keep activated Stop Loss.
Strategy Preset : Some preset I've found interesting, with good results.
BackTest Days : If there are too many results and script doesn't work, you can choose a closer range to show results.
EXTRA FEATURES
On Screen Display : OSD will show you some realtime stats about your strategy, like Asset Tick, Trading Period Range, Drawdown, Gains and not closed trade.
Alert Message : You can enter custom Long Entry/Exit and Short Entry/Exit message for your Bots (like AutoView, WunderBit, etc...). When alert is triggered, you can send custom message with {{strategy.order.comment}} in the text field
AutoView Alert Message : If you are user of AutoView, you can generate your calls. Those are tested only on Oanda with index like Sp500, US100, Us30.
TIPS ON USE
Some asset on TradingView require an higher initial capital. Go to this Script Settings -> Properties and rise Initial Capital.
Be aware of commissions and spread when evalutating a strategy. Go to this Script Settings -> Properties and set Commission and Slippage
Trail Stop and Ticks could be difficult to understand, but very profitable. Please take your time and study how it works.
Consider Tick like the minimum movement your asset can do. Ticks occurs "intra-bar", so some of your positions could be closed almost instantly.
Consider Trail Stop like a Stop Loss that keep always the same distance from your positions, but never came back . If you are in gain, say of 10 Ticks, and your Trail have 5 Ticks, this means for sure a close at minimum 5 Ticks from Entry Price.
On Screen Display will show you Ticks for your asset. This will help you on strategy settings, because not all asset responds on the same way.

ONLY SHORT EXAMPLE
Sideways Strategy DMI + Bollinger Bands (by Coinrule)Markets don’t always trade in a clear direction. At a closer look, most of the time, they move sideways. Relying on trend-following strategies all the time can thus lead to repeated false signals in such conditions.
However, before you can safely trade sideways, you have to identify the most suitable market conditions.
The main features of such strategies are:
Short-term trades, with quick entries and quick exits
Slightly contrarian and mean-reversionary
Require some indicator that tells you it’s a sideways market
This Sideways DMI + Bollinger Bands strategy incorporates such features to bring you a profitable alternative when the regular trend-following systems stop working.
ENTRY
1. The trading system requires confirmation for a sideways market from the Directional Movement Index (DMI) before you can start opening any trades. For this purpose, the strategy uses the absolute difference between positive and negative DMI, which must be lower than 20.
2. To pick the right moment to buy, the strategy looks at the Bollinger Bands (BB). It enters the trade when the price crosses over the lower BB.
EXIT
The strategy then exits when the move has been exhausted. Generally, in sideways markets, the price should revert lower. The position is closed when the price crosses back down below the upper BB.
The best time frame for this strategy based on our backtest is the 1-hr. Shorter timeframes can also work well on certain coins that are more volatile and trade sideways more often. However, as expected, these exhibit larger volatility in their returns. In general, this approach suits medium timeframes. A trading fee of 0.1% is taken into account. The fee is aligned to the base fee applied on Binance, which is the largest cryptocurrency exchange.
Density & Step Grid Strategies BacktesterThis contains several signals for backtesting strategies only in binance futures assets.
HOW IT WORKS
Grid trading is a trading strategy where an investor creates a so-called "price grid". The basic idea of the strategy is to repeatedly buy at the pre-specified price and then wait for the price to rise above that level and then sell the position (and vice versa with shorting or hedging). We introduce 2 grids trading algorithms "Step" and "Density" .
FEATURES
Grid size: This algorithm has a max of 20 orders.
Take profit: The trader can increase or decrease the distance between the grids from the User Interface panel, is the the distance from average price.
Management: The algorithm distributes the capital for all orders depending on the amount fator, for example 1.1% of amount factor adds 10% over the previus order.
Stop Loss: The algorithm place the stopn using distance from the last lower / upper grid depending on the position side.
USES
Indispensable research and backtesting tool for those using bots for their investments. The algorithm produces a backtesting of the strategy for past history. It is used by professional traders to understand if this strategy has been profitable on a market and what parameters to use for bots using this strategy, only binance futures assets supported.

Estrategia Larry Connors [JoseMetal]============
ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This strategy is based on the original Larry Connors strategy, using 2 SMAs and RSI.
The strategy has been optimized for better total profit and works better on 4H (tested on BTCUSDT).
LONG:
Price must be ABOVE the slow SMA.
When a candle closes in RSI oversold area, the next candle closes out of the oversold area and the closing price is BELOW the fast SMA = open LONG.
LONG is closed when a candle closes ABOVE the fast SMA.
SHORT:
Price must be BELOW the slow SMA.
When a candle closes in RSI overbought area, the next candle closes out of the overbought area and the closing price is ABOVE the fast SMA = open SHORT.
SHORT is closed when a candle closes BELOW the fast SMA.
*Larry Connor's strategy does NOT use a fixed Stop Loss or Take Profit, as he said, that reduces performance significantly.
- Visual:
Both SMAs (fast and slow) are shown in the chart.
By default, the fast SMA is aqua color, the slow changes between green and red depending on the "trend" (price over slow SMA = bullish, below = bearish).
RSI can't be shown because TradingView doesn't allow to show both overlay and panel indicators, so candles get a RED color when RSI is in OVERBOUGHT area and GREEN when they're on OVERSOLD area to help with that.
Background is colored when conditions are met and a position is going to be open, green for LONGs red for SHORTs.
- Usage and recommendations:
As this is a coded strategy, you don't even have to check for indicators, just open and close trades as the strategy shows.
The original strategy uses a 5 period SMA instead of the 10, and 10/90 for oversold/overbought levels, this has been optimized after the testings and results but feel free to change settings and test by yourself.
Also, the original strategy was developed for daily, but seems to work better en 4H.
- Customization:
As usual I like to make as many aspects of my indicators/strategies customizable, indicators, colors etc., feel free to ask if you feel that something that should be configurable is missing or if you have any ideas to optimize the strategy.

ESPAÑOL
============
- Descripción:
Esta estrategia está basada en la estrategia original de Larry Connors, utilizando 2 SMAs y RSI.
La estrategia ha sido optimizada para un mejor beneficio total y funciona mejor en 4H (probado en BTCUSDT).
LONG:
MACD Strategy [Trading Nerd]This Strategy uses a EMA as a trend filter and MACD for entries. The stoploss can be calculated by the last highs/lows or by the ATR.
Entry Conditions
Long:
close price must be above the EMA
MACD-Line crossover MACD-Signal-Line
MACD-Signal- Line mus be below 0
Short:
close price must be below the EMA
MACD-Line crossunder MACD-Signal-Line
MACD-Signal- Line mus be above 0
Exit Conditions
The Stoploss can be set in two different ways:
1. By the calculated ATR value of the entry Candle. This Value can be multiplied with the ATR multiplier for SL .
For Longs: SL = entry Price - ATR * ATR-multiplier
For Shorts: SL = entry Price + ATR * ATR-multiplier
2. By the previous highest high or lowest low (also called Donchain Channels). The lookback length can be changed in the at Lookback length for HH/LL SL .
For Longs: SL = LL of the last X candles
For Shorts: SL = HH of the last X candles
Take Profit
The TP is calculated by the Risk * Risk Reward Ratio . The Risk Reward Ratio can be changed in the Settings. The Risk is the difference of entry price and stoploss price: Risk = absolute(entry price - stoploss price)
For Longs: TP = entry Price + Risk * Risk Reward Ratio.
For Shorts: TP = entry Price - Risk * Risk Reward Ratio.
Risk Management
You can set the Risk % per Trade in the settings. A Value of 2 means that the position size is calculated in a way that at a loosing trade the strategy will only loose 2% of the current capital (initial capital + net profit).
E.g.: The current capital is $1000 and a trade hits the SL. The strategy will only loose $20.
Info for Alerts: Alert message conversion of JSON Strings. You don't need to add any \n or \" to the alert String.
When you create the Alert the Message must be: {{strategy.order.alert_message}}
