This indicator automatically draws ascending Elliot Wave patterns and price projections derived from the ranges that constitute the patterns.
█ CONCEPTS
Green and Red Candles
• A green candle is one that closes with a close price equal to or above the price it opened.
• A red candle is one that closes with a close price that is lower than the price it opened.
Swing Highs and Swing Lows
• A swing high is a green candle or series of consecutive green candles followed by a single red candle to complete the swing and form the peak.
• A swing low is a red candle or series of consecutive red candles followed by a single green candle to complete the swing and form the trough.
Peak and Trough Prices (Basic)
• The peak price of a complete swing high is the high price of either the red candle that completes the swing high or the high price of the preceding green candle, depending on which is higher.
• The trough price of a complete swing low is the low price of either the green candle that completes the swing low or the low price of the preceding red candle, depending on which is lower.
Historic Peaks and Troughs
The current, or most recent, peak and trough occurrences are referred to as occurrence zero. Previous peak and trough occurrences are referred to as historic and ordered numerically from right to left, with the most recent historic peak and trough occurrences being occurrence one.

Fibonacci Retracement and Extension Ratios
The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers in which each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers, starting with 0 and 1. For example 0 + 1 = 1, 1 + 1 = 2, 1 + 2 = 3, and so on. Ultimately, we could go on forever but the first few numbers in the sequence are as follows: 0 , 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144.
The extension ratios are calculated by dividing each number in the sequence by the number preceding it. For example 0/1 = 0, 1/1 = 1, 2/1 = 2, 3/2 = 1.5, 5/3 = 1.6666..., 8/5 = 1.6, 13/8 = 1.625, 21/13 = 1.6153..., 34/21 = 1.6190..., 55/34 = 1.6176..., 89/55 = 1.6181..., 144/89 = 1.6179..., and so on. The retracement ratios are calculated by inverting this process and dividing each number in the sequence by the number proceeding it. For example 0/1 = 0, 1/1 = 1, 1/2 = 0.5, 2/3 = 0.666..., 3/5 = 0.6, 5/8 = 0.625, 8/13 = 0.6153..., 13/21 = 0.6190..., 21/34 = 0.6176..., 34/55 = 0.6181..., 55/89 = 0.6179..., 89/144 = 0.6180..., and so on.
1.618 is considered to be the 'golden ratio', found in many natural phenomena such as the growth of seashells and the branching of trees. Some now speculate the universe oscillates at a frequency of 0,618 Hz, which could help to explain such phenomena, but this theory has yet to be proven.
Traders and analysts use Fibonacci retracement and extension indicators, consisting of horizontal lines representing different Fibonacci ratios, for identifying potential levels of support and resistance. Fibonacci ranges are typically drawn from left to right, with retracement levels representing ratios inside of the current range and extension levels representing ratios extended outside of the current range. If the current wave cycle ends on a swing low, the Fibonacci range is drawn from peak to trough. If the current wave cycle ends on a swing high the Fibonacci range is drawn from trough to peak.
Elliot Wave Patterns
Ralph Nelson Elliott, authored his book on Elliott wave theory titled "The Wave Principle" in 1938. In this book, Elliott presented his theory of market behaviour, which he believed reflected the natural laws that govern human behaviour.
The Elliott Wave Theory is based on the principle that waves have a tendency to unfold in a specific sequence of five waves in the direction of the trend, followed by three waves leading in the opposite direction. This pattern is called a 5-3 wave pattern and is the foundation of Elliott's theory.
The five waves in the direction of the trend are labelled 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, while the three waves in the opposite direction are labelled A, B, and C. Waves 1, 3, and 5 are impulse waves, while waves 2 and 4 are corrective waves. Waves A and C are also corrective waves, while wave B is an impulse wave.
According to Elliott, the pattern of waves is fractal in nature, meaning that it occurs on all time frames, from the smallest to the largest.
In Elliott Wave Theory, the distance that waves move from each other depends on the specific market conditions and the amplitude of the waves involved. There is no fixed rule or limit for how far waves should move from each other, however, there are several guidelines to help identify and measure wave distances. One of the most common guidelines is the Fibonacci ratios, which can be used to describe the relationships between wave lengths. For example, Elliott identified that wave 3 is typically the strongest and longest wave, and it tends to be 1.618 times the length of wave 1. Meanwhile, wave 2 tends to retrace between 50% and 78.6% of wave 1, and wave 4 tends to retrace between 38.2% and 78.6% of wave 3.
In general, the patterns are quite rare and the distances that the waves move in relation to one another is subject to interpretation. For such reasons, I have simply included the ratios of the current ranges as ratios of the preceding ranges in the wave labels and it will, ultimately, be up to the user to decide whether or not the patterns qualify as valid.

I can only recommend using 24-hour markets, if and where possible, as there are far fewer gaps and, generally, more data to work with.
Similarly, if the current timeframe is not a factor of the higher timeframe there will be occasions when the left hand offset is out by a couple of bars. This is because the calculations are ultimately based on how many lower timeframe bars there are inside a sequence of higher timeframe bars. The indicator will also behave unexpectedly if the higher timeframe resolution is lower than the current timeframe, but that should be expected.
If the lines do not draw or you see a study error saying that the script references too many candles in history, this is most likely because the higher timeframe anchor point is not present on the current timeframe. This problem usually occurs when referencing a higher timeframe, such as the 1-month, from a much lower timeframe, such as the 1-minute. How far you can lookback for higher timeframe anchor points on the current timeframe will also be limited by your Trading View subscription plan. Premium users get 20,000 candles worth of data, pro+ and pro users get 10,000, and basic users get 5,000.

Fibonacci Moving Averages Input(FibMAI) Fibonacci Moving Averages Input is a strategy based on moving averages cross-over or cross-under signals. The bullish golden cross appears on a chart when a stock's short-term moving average crosses above its long-term moving average. The bearish death cross appears on a chart when a stock’s short-term moving average, crosses below its long-term moving average. The general market consensus values used are the 50-day moving average and the 200-day moving average.
With the (FibMAI) Fibonacci Moving Averages Input strategy you can use any value you choose for your bullish or bearish cross. For visual display purposes I have a lot of the Fib Moving Averages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987 shown while hiding the chart candlesticks. But to use this indicator I click on only a couple of MA's to see if there's a notable cross-over or cross-under pattern signal. Then, most importantly, I back test those values into the FibMAI strategy Long or Short settings input.

Kapua Whenua LANDZZ1Kapua Whenua means Earth's Clouds in Maori language, this indicator was created to show impulses and trends of the asset's price movement both up and down.
The Indicator was made based on key numbers of the golden ratio:
Conversion Line: Kw 17 (Purple Color)
Kw 34 - Short Period Fractal (Light Blue Color)
Kw 72 - Short/Medium Period Fractal (Orange)
Kw 144 - Medium Period Fractal (Yellow Color)
Kw 305 - Medium/Long Period Fractal (Dark Blue Color)
Kw 610 - Long Period Fractal (Grey)
Kw 1292 - Long Period Fractal+ (Black Color)
The baseline or also called the conversion line is identified by the Color Purple of value 17.
How to read the indicator:
Every time the conversion line (Purple Color 17 periods) crosses a Kw value (Kapua Whenua) it will always look for the next KW line above or below the value as support or resistance.
For example:
If we are in a bull market, and the price crosses below the KW17 conversion line it will go towards KW 34 as support, if the price breaks KW 34 it will go towards the next line below KW 34 as support.
Every time the conversion line or the price crosses a higher value of Kapua Whenua (KW) this trend will be stronger, it means, if the conversion line (KW 17) crosses above KW 305 it will indicate more strength than if it had crossed above the KW 72 or 144 for example. So to get better results trading with the trend, always observe if the conversion line and the price are below or above some Medium/Long Period KW.
Note also that, in an uptrend, it could be that all KW are below each other. In a downtrend, it could be that all KW are on top of each other. This indicates that the farther the price is from the fractals the stronger the trend is, also, when there is a narrowing of the fractals means that the price will start to go sideways. If the price is between 2 or more Fractals, it will indicate consolidation.
A really good trend is considered when the price or the Short/Medium Period Fractals are all above or below at KW 610, which is a long period fractal, meaning a strong uptrend or downtrend.
A larger KW can be at the same point as a smaller KW, however, the stronger color will be shown above the weaker one.
***Larger chart timeframes are better to see longer KW fractals that are above or below the price, if your chart timeframe doesn't show a bigger support or resistance fractal, change the chart time to another longer period**
Tip - Get used to looking at line colors as your indicators, just like moving averages. You can also take or place any fractal at any time in the configuration menu.

72s Strat: Backtesting Adaptive HMA+ pt.1This is a follow up to my previous publication of Adaptive HMA+ few months ago, as a mean to provide some kind of initial backtesting tools. Which can be use to explore many possible strategies, optimise its settings to better conform user's pair/tf, and hopefully able to help tweaking your general strategy.
If you haven't read the study or use the indicator, kindly go here first to get the overall idea.
The first strategy introduce in this backtest is one most basic already described in the study; buy/sell is when movement is there and everything is on the right side; When RSI has turned to other side, we can use it as exit point (if in profit of course, else just let it hit our TP/SL, why would we exit before profit). Also, base on RSI when we make entry, we can further differentiate type of signals. --Please check all comments in code directly where the signals , entries , and exits section are.
Second additional strategy to check; is when we also use second faster Adaptive HMA+ for exit. So this is like a double orders on a signal but with different exit-rule (/more on this on snapshots below). Alternatively, you can also work the code so to only use this type of exit.
There's also an additional feature which you can enable its visuals, the Distance Zone , is to help measuring price distance to our xHMA+. It's just a simple atr based envelope really, I already put the sample code in study's comment section, but better gonna update it there directly for non-coder too, after this.
In this sample I use Lot for order quantity size just because that's what I use on my broker. Also what few friends use while we forward-testing it since the study is published, so we also checked/compared each profit/loss report by real number. To use default or other unit of measurement, change the entry code accordingly.
If you change your order size, you should also change the commission in Properties Tab. My broker commission is 5 USD per order/lot, so in there with example order size 0.1 lot I put commission 0.5$ per order (I'll put 2.5$ for 0.5 lot, 10$ for 2 lot, and so on). Crypto usually has higher charge. --It is important that you should fill it base on your broker.
SETTINGS
I'm trying to keep it short. Please explore it further again. (Beginner should also first get acquaintance with terms use here.)
ORDERS:
Base Minimum Profit Before Exit:
The number is multiplier of ongoing ATR. Means that when basic exit condition is met, algo will check whether you're already in minimum profit or not, if not, let it still run to TP or SL, or until it meets subsequent exit condition, then it will check again.
Default Target Profit:
Multiplier of ATR at signal. If reached before any eligible exit condition is met, exit TP.
Base StopLoss Point:
You can change directly in code to use other like ATR Trailing SL, fix percent SL, or whatever. In the sample, 4 options provided.
Maximum StopLoss:
This is like a safety-net, that if at some point your chosen SL point from input above happens to be exceeding this maximum input that you can tolerate, then this max point is the one will be use as SL.
Activate 2nd order...:
The additional doubling of certain buy/sell with different exits as described above. If enable, you should also set pyramiding to at least: 2. If not, it does nothing.
ADAPTIVE HMA+ PERIOD
Many users already have their own settings for these. So in here I only sample the default as first presented in the study. Make it to your adaptive.
MARKET MOVEMENT
(1) Now you can check in realtime how much slope degree is best to define your specific pair/tf is out of congestion (yellow) area. And (2) also able to check directly what ATR lengths are more suitable defining your pair's volatility.
DISTANCE ZONE
Distance Multiplier. Each pair/tf has its own best distance zone (in xHMA+ perspective). The zone also determine whether a signal should appear or not. (Or what type of signal, if you wanna go more detail in constructing your strategy)
USAGE
(Provided you already have your own comfortable settings for minimum-maximum period of Adaptive HMA+. Best if you already have backtested it manually too and/or apply as an add-on to your working strategy)
1. In our experiences, first most important to define is both elements in the Market Movement Settings . These also tend to be persistent for whole season since it's kinda describing that pair/tf overall behaviour. Don't worry if you still get a low Profit Factor here, but by tweaking you should start to see positive changes in one of Max Drawdown and Net Profit, or Percent Profitable.
2. Afterwards, find your pair/tf Distance Zone . When optimising this, what we seek is just a "not to bad" equity curves to start forming. At least Max Drawdown should lessen more. Doesn't have to be great already, but should be better, no red in Net Profit.
3. Then go manage the "Trailing Minimum Profit", TP, SL, and max SL.
4. Repeat 1,2,3. 👻
5. Manage order size, commission, and/or enable double-order (need pyramiding) if you like. Check if your equity can handle max drawdown before margin call.
6. After getting an acceptable backtest result, go to List of Trades tab and find the biggest loss or when many sequencing loss in a row happened. Click on it to go to exact point on chart, observe why the signal failed and get at least general idea how it can be prevented . The rest is yours, you should know your pair/tf more than other.
You can also re-explore your minimum-maximum period for both Major and minor xHMA+.
Keep in mind that all numbers in Setting are conceptually in a form of range . You don't want to get superb equity curves but actually a "fragile" , means one can easily turn it to disaster just by changing only a fraction in one/two of the setting.

If you just wanna test the strength of the indicator alone, you can disable "Use StopLoss" temporarily while optimising settings.
Using no SL might be tempting in overall result data in some cases, but NOTE: It is not recommended to not using SL, don't forget that we deliberately enter when it's in high volatility. If want to add flexibility or trading for long-term, just maximise your SL. ie.: chose SL Point>ATR only and set it maximum. (Check your max drawdown after this).
I think this is quite important specially for beginners, so here's an example; Hypothetically in below scenario, because of some settings, the buy order after the loss sell signal didn't appear. Let's say if our initial capital only 1000$ using leverage and order size 0,5 lot (risky position sizing already), moreover if this happens at the beginning of your trading season, that's half of account gone already in one trade . Your max SL should've made you exit after that pumping bar.
The Trailing Minimum Profit is actually look like this. Search in the code if you want to plot it. I just don't like too many lines on chart.
To maximise profit we can try enabling double-order. The only added rule coded is: RSI should rising when buy and falling when sell. 2nd signal will appears above or below default buy/sell signal. (Of course it's also prone to double-loss, re-check your max drawdown after. Profit factor play its part in here for a long run). Snapshot in comparison:
Two default sell signals on left closed at RSI exit, the additional sell signal closed later on when price crossover minor xHMA+. On buy side, price haven't met our minimum profit when first crossunder minor xHMA+. If later on we hit SL on this "+buy" signal, at least we already profited from default buy signal. You can also consider/treat this as multiple TP points.
For longer-term trading, what you need to maximise is the Minimum Profit , so it won't exit whenever an exit condition happened, it can happen several times before reaching minimum profit. Hopefully this snapshot can explain:
Notice in comparison default sell and buy signal now close in average after 3 days. What's best is when we also have confirmation from higher TF. It's like targeting higher TF by entering from smaller TF.
As also mention in the study, we can still experiment via original HMA by putting same value for minimum-maximum period setting. This is experimental EU 1H with Major xHMA+: 144-144, Flat market 13, Distance multiplier 3.6, with 2nd order activated.
Kiwi was a bit surprising for me. It's flat market is effectively below 6, with quite far distance zone of 3.5. Probably because I'm using big numbers in adaptive period.

The result you see in strategy tester report below for EURUSD 15m is using just default settings you see in code, as follow:
0,1 lot for each order (which is the smallest allowed by my broker).
No pyramiding. Commission: 0.5 usd per order. Slippage: 3
Opening position is only using basic strategy #1 (RSI exit). Additional exit not activated.
Minimum Profit: 1. TP: 3.
SL use: Half-distance zone. Max SL: 4.5.

RSI: Standard 14.
(From our forward-testing, the difference we get from net profit is because of the spread, our entry isn't exactly at the close/open price. Not so much though, but not the same. If somebody can direct me to any example where we can code our entry via current bid/ask price, that would be awesome!)

Gann RetracementThe indicator is based on W. D. Gann's method of retracement studies. Gann looked at stock retracement action in terms of Halves (1/2), Thirds (1/3, 2/3), Fifths (1/5, 2/5, 3/5, and 4/5) and more importantly the Eighths (1/8, 2/8, 3/8, 4/8, 5/8, 6/8, and 7/8). Needless to say, {2, 3, 5, 8} are the only Fibonacci numbers between 1 to 10. These ratios can easily be visualized in the form of division of a Circle as follows :
Divide the circle in 12 equal parts of 30 degree each to produce the Thirds :
30 x 4 = 120 is 1/3 of 360
30 x 8 = 240 is 2/3 of 360
The 30 degree retracement captures fundamental geometric shapes like a regular Triangle (120-240-360), a Square (90-180-270-360), and a regular Hexagon (60-120-180-240-300-360) inscribed inside of the circle.
Now, divide the circle in 10 equal parts of 36 degree each to produce the Fifths :
36 x 2 = 72 is 1/5 of 360
36 x 4 = 144 is 2/5 of 360
36 x 6 = 216 is 3/5 of 360
36 x 8 = 288 is 4/5 of 360
where, (72-144-216-288-360) is a regular Pentagon.

Aroon Oscillator StrategyThis is simple strategy based on Aroon Oscillator. I have found that using length 144 or 169 on hourly chart shows excellent results.

I give more importance to the average of 89 periods than to 72, because I see it as an extension to the average of 72, as if it were a trend range.

How it works?
The indicators work together, however there are some important cross-averages that need to be identified.
- Crossing the MA21 with 50, 100 and 200 up or down will dictate an up or down trend.
- MA200 and EMA200 are excellent indicators of resistance and support zone, if the price is above these averages it will be a great support, if the price is below these averages it will indicate strong resistance.
- Another important crossover refers to exponential moving averages of 17 to 72 indicates a possible start of a trend
- The crossing of the exponential moving average of 34 with 144 will confirm the crossing mentioned above.
- In addition, the exponential moving average of 610 used by Bo Williams is an excellent reference for dictating an upward or downward trend, if the price is above it it will possibly confirm an upward trend and the downside.
- To conclude we have bollinger bands with standard deviation 2 and 3, they help to identify the maximum movements.

Staccked SMA - Regime Switching & Persistance StatisticsThis indicator is designed to identify the prevailing market regime by analyzing the behavior of a "stack" of Simple Moving Averages (SMAs). It helps you understand whether the market is currently trending, mean-reverting, or moving randomly.
Core Concept: SMA Correlation
At its heart, the indicator examines the relationship between a set of nine SMAs with different lengths (3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144) and the lengths themselves.
In a strong trending market (either up or down), the SMAs will be neatly "stacked" in order of their length. The shortest SMA will be furthest from the longest SMA, creating a strong, almost linear visual pattern. When we measure the statistical correlation between the SMA values and their corresponding lengths, we get a value close to +1 (perfect uptrend stack) or -1 (perfect downtrend stack). The absolute value of this correlation will be very high (close to 1).
In a mean-reverting or sideways market, the SMAs will be tangled and crisscrossing each other. There is no clear order, and the relationship between an SMA's length and its price value is weak. The correlation will be close to 0.
This indicator calculates this Pearson correlation on every bar, giving a continuous measure of how ordered or "trendy" the SMAs are. An absolute correlation above 0.8 is considered strongly trending, while a value between 0.4 and 0.8 suggests a mean-reverting character. Below 0.4, the market is likely random or choppy.
Regime Classification and Statistics
The indicator doesn't just look at the current correlation; it analyzes its behavior over a user-defined lookback window (default is 252 bars) to classify the overall market "regime."
It presents its findings in a clear table:

Median: Shows the median absolute correlation over the lookback period, giving a central tendency of the market's behavior.
% > 0.80: The percentage of time the market was in a strong trend during the lookback period.
% < 0.80 & > 0.40: The percentage of time the market showed mean-reverting characteristics.
🧠 Regime: The final classification. It's labeled "📈 Trend-Dominant" if the median correlation is high and it has spent a significant portion of the time trending. It's labeled "🔄 Mean-Reverting" if the median is in the middle range and it has spent significant time in that state. Otherwise, it's considered "⚖️ Random/ Choppy".
📐 Regime Significance: This tells you how statistically confident you can be in the current regime classification, using a Z-score to compare its occurrence against random chance. ⭐⭐⭐ indicates high confidence (99%), while "❌ Not Significant" means the pattern could be random.
Regime Transition Probabilities
Optionally, a second table can be displayed that shows the historical probability of the market transitioning from one regime to another over different time horizons (t+5, t+10, t+15, and t+20 bars).

Indicator Settings
Lookback Window for Regime Classification: This sets the number of recent bars (default is 252) the script analyzes to determine the current market regime (Trending, Mean-Reverting, or Random). A larger number provides a more stable, long-term view, while a smaller number makes the classification more sensitive to recent price action.
Show Regime Transition Table: A simple toggle (on/off) to show or hide the table that displays the probabilities of the market switching from one regime to another.
Lookback Offset for Starting Regime: This determines the "starting point" in the past for calculating regime transitions. The default is 20 bars ago. The script looks at the regime at this point and then checks what it became at later points.
Step 1, 2, 3, 4 Offset (bars): These define the future time intervals (5, 10, 15, and 20 bars by default) for the transition probability table. For example, the script checks the regime at the "Lookback Offset" and then sees what it transitioned to 5, 10, 15, and 20 bars later.
Significance Filter Settings
Use Regime Significance Filter: When enabled, this filter ensures that the regime transition statistics only count transitions that were "statistically significant." This helps to filter out noise and focus on more reliable patterns.
Min Stars Required (1=90%, 2=95%, 3=99%): This sets the minimum confidence level required for a regime to be included in the transition statistics when the significance filter is on.
1 ⭐: Requires at least 90% confidence.
2 ⭐⭐: Requires at least 95% confidence (default).
3 ⭐⭐⭐: Requires at least 99% confidence.
