EMA_cumulativeVolume_crossover[Strategy]This strategy is back test for EMA_cumulativeVolume_crossover
BUY
When ema50 crossover cumulative volume of 100 period
Exit
When ema50 cross down cumulative volume of 100 period
Partial Exit
for the partial profit I have used stopLoss value , but up side. When price is above partial profit and crossing down EMA 50 , exit 1/3 position
Please note when you select this setting, you see spike number of trades, that is because you closing partial number of trades. which increases the winning rate but reduces the total net profit.
Stop Loss
Defaulted to 8%
Added parameter to take LONG or SHORT trades ... on SHORT side not very good results ... you can review it and provide feedback how to improve the performance.
Short Selling
Reverse above BUY conditions
I have tested LONG trades on SPY , QQQ and AAPL on 1 Hour and 30 mins timeframes. for AAPL on DAY timeframe it shows crazy results :-)

Doji swing strategyThis is a simple strategy based on Doji star candlestick
This strategy is suited for big time frames, like 4h -1Day and so on.
It places two orders: long at doji star high or previous candle high and short at doji star low or previous candle low.
It can also be applied volume average, in order to filter between trades .
This strategy works very well with high time frames like Weekly TF because it eliminates the noise in doji formation.
It also has inside a risk management made of SL/TP , or if not prefered it can exit based on a exit condition.
If you have any questions, please let me know !
Catch the Big FishVolume based script to catch a big move. Works best on 5 min timeframe.
The default sma duration for volume is set to 150 = number of candles in 5 mins timeframe for 2 days.
Heavy volume is defined as = more than 9 times of sma.
Both parameters are configurable.
Trading strategy: Long buy at high / Short sell at low of the candle where the script gives the signal.
Important note regarding SL - for Long / Short positions respectively, the SL should be placed at low / high of previous candle, and NOT of the same candle.
RSI of VWAPThis strategy inputs the vwap as source to RSI indicator.
ENTRY
When RSIofVwap crossover 70 and price is above ema200
partial exits
when RSIofVwap reaches 90 level take a portion of profit
Exit
When RSIofVwap crossdown 30
stoploss
defaulated to 5%
Risk Level
Defaulted to 10%. Based on this startegy calcuclates hiw many units can be purchased adhering to stoploss value
Note: code doesnt draw the RSI (vwap) indicator to the chart. if you want to see how these signals are generated , you can select RSI and VWAP of 14 period length.

Long only strategy VWAP with BB and Golden Cross EMA50/200
This is strategy, mainly designed for stock markets
It makes uses of the EMA 50/ 200 ( Golden cross) and VWAP and Bollinger bands.
It only takes long positions. It can be adapted to all time frames, but preferably to be used with longer timeframes 1h +
The rules for entry are the next ones :
1. EMA50 > EMA 200
2. if current close > vwap session value
3. check if price dipped BB lower band for any of last 10 candles
EXIT RULE
1. price closes above BB upper
STOP LOSS EXIT
1. As configured --- default is set to 1%
Ichimoku with MACD/ CMF/ TSI This is a strategy made from ichimoku cloud , together with MACD, Chaiking Money FLOW and True Strenght Index.
It can be adapted to any timeframe and any type of financial markets.
The idea behind its very simple,
We combine the long / short strategy from ichimoku, like cross between lines and below/above cloud together with histogram from MACD for positive/negative level. We use the same criteria for TSI and CMF, to check if its above or below 0 level.
Based on that we have a long or a short entry. The exit happens when the next options triggers, like for example we had long signal, we exit when we receive the short signal and viceversa.
It can be adapted with a risk management to apply a tp/sl level.
For any suggestion or details , let me know.
Project Aurora Back testing betaWe have made this script Because we Wanted to speed up the trading and speed up the learning curve and tell people get past their first steps of trading by not taking many losses And by being smart about it so we have created a algorithm that you can tune to your specific stock that you want to trade preferably mid High cap stocks and ETFs such as TQqq and sqqq and we just wanted to give back to the trading community and this is a beta version of the full version that will be coming out pretty soon somewhere in December of 2020. this is our beta version please send us any information on how to make it better thank you.
Buying points-for the buying Point settings there's three things that you can adjust the source of the equation outer and the multiplication equation please change the settings accordingly to your stock and try to make it as profitable as possible bass settings that work on most are
ohlc4 for but the source for the equation adder 150 and for the multiplication equation 3. These are the best settings that work well on pretty much everything but you can make it more profitable by changing and fine-tuning it to your liking.
Selling Points- it's essentially the same thing as the buying points except I'm going to give you different settings to run on. but the source ohlc4 for the equation adder 130 and for the multiplication equation 2.8
Show Extra sell signal- cell if you wanted to use ATR in your selling points you can definitely click that and turn it on and then you can adjust the APR by adjusting the ATR length and the ATR multiplier stock those are very just fine I don't really like to use them though take care of you cells that are not really quite there yet if you know what I mean.
Short points- The Shore points are where you want the short signals to be and stock these are very very helpful especially if you're treating tqq and sqq now that it's practically the same to the selling points and the buying points but they run a little bit different. so these settings are for the source LOW for the ad equation 200 and for the short multiplication equation 4.
Bands- this indicator runs on bands and you can see those bands by clicking band for buys band for sales and band for shorts you can see how it works intricately right there
strategy Direction- this just means if you want only shorts are only the Young's Positions
back testing dates- so these are pretty self-explanatory they're just where you want to buy and sell to start going and if you want to take a specific amount of time into the back testing.
Okay so this is a script that took me 70 hours to make. Please be respectful. Please send me any questions, comments or concerns. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. and we will be having a project Aurora final version coming out sometime in December 2020. I would really really like your feedback so I can learn how to make it better thank you
© Investoz Volume/ATR/DailyRange/OHLC/Probability/VolatilityThe relationship between returns, volatility and trading volume has interested financial economists and analysts for a long time.
Is there any dynamic relationship between trading volume, returns and volatility in the financial markets?
In recent financial studies, the linkage between return, volatility and trading volume is a central issue as it provides insights into the microstructure of financial markets. The price-volume relationship is seen as it is related to the role of information in price formation. Trading volume is defined as the number of shares traded each day and is an important indicator in technical analysis as it is used to measure the worth of stock price movement
either up or down.
Investors' motive to trade is solely dependent on their trading activity; it may be to speculate on market information or portfolios diversification for risk sharing, or else the need for liquidity. These different motives to trade are a result of processing different available information. In consequence, trading volume may originate from any of the investors who may have different information sets. As various studies reported, the information flow into the market is linked to the trading volume and volatility. Thus, since the stock price changes when new information arrives, there exists a relation between prices, volatility and trading volumes.
Significant efforts have been made, empirically and theoretically, on the phenomenon of stock price and volume relationship. Although the majority of those findings have confirmed the existence of positive contemporaneous relationship between trading volume and returns, the study of different stock markets have given mixed results about the causal return-volume relationship.
So, if you think that price and volume is important, maybe this indicator full of information around this topic may help you or make it easier in many ways.
Let me briefly guide you through.
To the right you have all the information within a label directly on the chart. Inside the label you will see following information:
-Number of bars
-Volume
-Average true range
-Daily range
-OHLC
-Probability for tomorrow´s daily range
-Warning of increased volatility
In the chart, you will also see where the expected daily range is likely to be within, with high and low levels.
Finally, I like to say this:
I have put a lot of work into this script and let me know if you use the indicator and what you think of it. Also if it is of some help or maybe you who use it, have found something wrong that needs to be reviewed and changed or information that would be important to add?
Enjoy!
VWAP + Fibo Dev Extensions StrategyBased on my VWAP + Fibo deviations indicator, I tested some strategies to see if the indicator can be profitable; and I got it !
This strategy uses:
H1 timeframe
Weekly VWAP
+1.618 / +2.618 / -1.618 / -2.618 Deviations Extensions to create 2 bands
The value of the deviation
First, the 2 bands are plotted : +1.618/+2.618 painted in red and -1.618/-2.618 painted in lime.
Then, we wait for the deviation value to reach at least 150 (see thumbnail) to avoid littles moves when the gaps between bands are too short.
Entry long position :
first candle must crossunder the -1.618 level and low have to stay over the -2.618
low of the second one must stay in the lime band
enter the third one if the deviation value is over limit (150)
Exit long position :
TP : when a high crossover VWAP
SL : when a low crossunder -2.618
Entry short position :
first candle must crossover the +1.618 level and high have to stay under the +2.618
high of the second one must stay in the red band
enter the third one if the deviation value is over limit (150)
Exit short position :
TP : when a low crossunder VWAP
SL : when a high crossover +2.618
Notes :
this strategy uses pyramiding (5), be careful and calculate your risk management
the comission value is set to 0.08% to include slippages when entering a trade because of market orders
This strategy is not an advice to invest, make your own decisions.
Breakout Trend Trading Strategy - V2This is an alternate version of Breakout Trend Trading Strategy - V1
Only difference is, this strategy places stop orders based on calculated targets whereas V1 waits for price to close target levels and then places market orders. Hence, you will receive the target prices before trade executes in strategy.
Parameters are same as that of Breakout Trend Trading Strategy - V1
There is one additional parameter on Trade Type - which permits user to allow only breakout, pullback or reverse trading or combination of all.
Backtesting parameters remain same :
Capital and position sizing : Capital and position sizing parameters are set to test investing 2000 wholly on certain stock without compounding.
Initial Capital : 2000
Order Size : 100% of equity
Pyramiding : 1
Test cases remain same :
Positive : AAPL , AMZN , TSLA , RUN, VRT , ASX:APT
Negative Test Cases: WPL , WHC , NHC , WOW, COL, NAB (All ASX stocks)
Special test case: WDI
Negative test cases still show losses in back-testing. I have attempted including many conditions to eliminate or reduce the loss. But, further efforts has resulted in reduction in profits in positive cases as well. Still experimenting. Will update whenever I find improvements. Comments and suggestions welcome :)
Breakout Trend Trading Strategy - V1Strategy in nutshell:
This strategy is made to be used in daily time-frames. Works better on trending instruments where volume is available. Hence, this is more suitable for trending shares rather than currencies, commodities and indexes where volume data is either not present or not reliable.
Breakout signifies the continuation of trend. Hence, trade in the direction of breakouts. Breakouts are calculated based on high volume and price movement in a day. This will be combined with few other conditions to generate buy and sell signals along with stop and compound targets. Supertrend is used for trend bias. Our buy and sell targets do not directly depend on the bias. But, entry criteria in opposite trend is made much difficult than that of trend direction. Further explanation of method and input parameters are explained below.
Backtesting parameters :
Capital and position sizing : Capital and position sizing parameters are set to test investing 2000 wholly on certain stock without compounding.
Initial Capital : 2000
Order Size : 100% of equity
Pyramiding : 1
ExitOnSignal : If unchecked exit is triggered solely on trailing stop
Trade Direction : Long, Short or All. Short condition is riskier than long conditions and often results in losses as per my observation. On most of the stocks trending up, strategy will not generate any short signals. This is achieved by comparing yearly high lows to previous two years to decide whether to allow short or long entries.
allowImmediateCompound : Applicable only if compounding/pyramiding is enabled in trade. If checked allows to place compounding orders immediately. If unchecked, it waits for stopline to cross order price before placing next compound.
Display Mode :
Targets : Whenever breakout happens, show marker for upTarget and downTarget
TargetChannel : Show up target and downtarget as a channel
Target With Stop : Along with targets, show also stop levels for breakouts
Up Channel : Channel created from UpTarget and respective stops
Down Channel : Channel created from DownTarget and respective stops
ShowTrailingStop : Shows trailing stop and compound lines when there is a trading position.
ShowTargetLevels : Shows Buy Sell target levels along with stop and compound lines. Trades are done as market orders. Hence, target levels are displayed after strategy makes the trade. Since only one order allowed per side without compounding, target, stop and compound levels are shown sometimes even without trade being made. These can be considered as entry levels if there is no existing position.
ShowPreviousLevels : Shows previous buy/sell target levels. When enabled, layout can look messy.
StopMultiplyer: To Set trailing stop loss.
BacktestYears: Number of years to include in backtest
So far my test cases are:
Positive : AAPL, AMZN, TSLA, RUN, VRT, ASX:APT
Negative Test Cases: WPL, WHC, NHC, WOW, COL, NAB (All ASX stocks)
Special test case: WDI
Negative test cases still show losses in backtesting. I have attempted including many conditions to eliminate or reduce the loss. But, further efforts has resulted in reduction in profits in positive cases as well. Still experimenting. Will update whenever I find improvements. Comments and suggestions welcome :)
Hammer Long strategy with filtered and enforced alertsA Hammer Long strategy is a price pattern in candlestick charting that occurs when a security trades significantly lower than its opening, but rallies within the period to close near opening price. This pattern forms a hammer-shaped candlestick , in which the lower shadow is at least twice the size of the real body. The body of the candlestick represents the difference between the open and closing prices, while the shadow shows the high and low prices for the period.
Key takeaways:
Hammers have a small real body and a long lower shadow.
Hammers occur after a price decline.
The hammer candlestick shows sellers came into the market during the period but by the close the selling had been absorbed and buyers had pushed the price back to near the open.
The close can be above or below the open, although the close should be near the open in order for the real body to remain small.
The lower shadow should be at least two times the height of the real body.
Hammer candlesticks indicate a potential price reversal to the upside.
The strategy enhances standard Hammer pattern accuracy by clearing out market noises and manipulations from the indicator's triggers. Combination of Volume oscillator filter and Directional Movement Index (DMI) components values adjustments allows to detect only strong signals. The strategy is developed to forecast Long positions entries and exits. The strategy supports spot, futures, options and marginal trading exchanges. It works accurately with BTC, USD, USDT, ETH and BNB quote currencies. Best to use with 30 and 60 minutes timeframe charts. The strategy can be and should be configured for each particular asset. You can change filters and risk management settings to receive the most advanced accurate alerts
Advantages of this script:
1. Weak signals and market noises are filtered. This allows to receive only strong and confirmed alerts
2. Strategy can be easily configured in user interface for each particular asset
3. High performance. At the chart you can see examples of strategy entries and exits, you also can check strategy backtest for RENUSDT position:
Net profit: 26.95%
Percent profitable: 90%
Profit factor: 7.418
Duration of trade: 16 hours
How to use?
1. Apply indicator to the trading pair your are interested in at 30m or 60m timeframe chart
2. Configure the strategy: change filters values and risk management settings until Strategy tester shows good results according to mathematical expectation
3. Set up a TradingView alert to trigger when Hammer strategy conditions are met
4. Strategy will send alerts when to enter and when to exit positions

hc,bitmexi have tweaked the algorithm to use the difference in MACD to get the correct direction of entries rather than using direction of candles which are not always indicative of trend direction. These changes increase net profit, profitable trades, while reducing drawdown.
What is going on here? This strategy is pretty simple. We start by measuring a very long chunk of volume history on BitMEX:XBTUSD 1 hour chart to find out if the current volume is high or low. At 1.0 the indicator is showing we are at 100% of normal historical volume . The blue line is a measure of recent volume! This indicator gets interested when the volume drops below 90% of the regular volume (0.9), and then comes back up over 90%. There's usually a pump of increased price activity during this time. When the 0.9 line is crossed by the blue line, the indicator surveys the last 2 bars of price action to figure out which way we're going, long or short. Green is long. Red is short. To exit the trade we use a 7 period fast ema of the volume crossing under an 11 ema slower period which shows declining interest in the market signifying an end to the pump or dump. The profit factor is quite high with 5x leverage, but historically we see 50% drawdown -- very risky. 1x leverage looks nice and tight with very low drawdown. Play with the inputs to see what matches your own risk profile. I would not recommend taking this into much lower timeframes as trading fees are not included in the profit calculations. Please don't get burned trading on stupid high leverage. This indicator is probably not going to work well on alts, as Bitcoin FOMO build up and behavior is different. This whole indicator is tuned to Bitcoin , and attempts to trade only the meatiest part of the market moves.
Engulfing strategy with DMI confirmationThe strategy contains Bearish and Bullish Engulfing trend reverse alerts with entry and closure notifications. Entries are enforced by Directional Movement Index (DMI) indicator levels combination. The strategy can be applied to spot, futures and marginal trading exchanges. It is suitable for both long and short positions and works accurately with BTC, USDT, ETH and BNB quote currencies. Best to use with 1H timeframe charts
Strategy elements can be configured at your own desire with user interface settings, no programming skills required:
1. Choose signals type: Long, Short or Both
2. Choose trend detection pattern rule:
SMA50 - provides a higher number of positions
SMA50 + SMA200 provides a higher accuracy
3. Change risk management settings to make the most accurate and efficient configuration. You can set up unique stop loss, take profit and trailing offset for different assets
4. Configure strategy periods
DMI and ADX lengths
ADX Smoothing
Key level
EMA and SMA lengths
5. Configure backtest dates
6. Show or hide RSI support and resistance bands
Engulfing strategy provides information for traders to enter the market in anticipation of a possible reversal in trend. Engulfing candles tend to signal a reversal of the current trend in the market. This specific pattern involves two candles with the latter candle "engulfing" the entire body of the candle before it. The engulfing candle can be bullish or bearish depending on where it forms in relation to the existing trend. The script calculates and compares values of the price action candles to define is there an engulfing and what type it is: bullish or bearish
If there is a bullish engulfing the indicator fills price action candle with yellow color
If there is a bearish engulfing the indicator fills price action candle with purple color
Advantages of the script:
1. The script detects presence of both types of engulfing: Bullish and Bearish
2. Weak engulfment signals and market noises are filtered by RSI bands and DMI confirmations. This allows to receive only strong and confirmed engulfment signals
3. This script has configurable risk management settings (order size, commission, take profit, stop loss and trailing). This provides you opportunity of direct broker connection and allows to conduct backtests before applying the strategy to real account. You also can set up strategy actions alerts
At the chart you can see the historical price action of ADAUSDT at Binance exchange from the January 1st 2019 till current date. The strategy is set up to receive only long signals because it is a spot market. Moments when the strategy triggered to enter a position are shown as L label while position entries are shown as "Long" messages. Moments when a certain position should be closed are shown as "Exitlong" messages
The strategy demonstrate high backtest results:
Mathematical expectation of risk management settings is positive = 1.34%
Percent profitable = 93.33%
Profit factor = 3.253
Quantity of entries = 75
Net profit = 15.22%
How to use?
Long signals:
1. Apply indicator to a trading pair your are interested in.
2. Click Settings button and select Alert Positions Type Long
3. Once bullish engulfing and confirmation conditions are met price action candle will be colored yellow and script strategy will enter a position.
4. Check Strategy Tester to set up optimal Risk management settings: stop loss, trailing profit activation point, trailing offset
5. Set up the strategy alert to be notified when a position should be opened or closed
Short signals:
1. Apply indicator to a trading pair your are interested in.
2. Click Settings button and select Alert Positions Type Short
3. Once bearish engulfing and confirmation conditions are met price action candle will be colored purple and script strategy will enter a position.
4. Check Strategy Tester to set up optimal Risk management settings: stop loss, trailing profit activation point, trailing offset
5. Set up the strategy alert to be notified when a position should be opened or closed

Bollinger Bands Strategy with Intraday Intensity IndexFor Educational Purposes. Results can differ on different markets and can fail at any time. Profit is not guaranteed.
This only works in a few markets and in certain situations. Changing the settings can give better or worse results for other markets.
This is a mean reversion strategy based on Bollinger Bands and the Intraday Intensity Index (a volume indicator). John Bollinger mentions that the Intraday Intensity Index can be used with Bollinger Bands and is one of the top indicators he recommends in his book. It seems he prefers it over the other volume indicators that he compares to for some reason. III looks a lot like Chaikin Money Flow but without the denominator in that calculation. On the default settings of the BBs, the III helps give off better entry signals. John Bollinger however is vague on how to use the BBs and it's hard to say if one should enter when it is below/above the bands or when the price crosses them. I find that with many indicators and strategies it's best to wait for a confirmation of some sort, in this case by waiting for some crossover of a band. Like most mean reversion strategies, the exit is very loose if using BBs alone. Usually the plan to exit is when the price finally reverts back to the mean or in this case the middle band. This can potentially lead to huge drawdowns and/or losses. Mean reversion strategies can have high win/loss ratios but can still end up unprofitable because of the huge losses that can occur. These drawdowns/losses that mean reversion strategies suffer from can potentially eat away at a large chunk of all that was previously made or perhaps up to all of it in the worst cases, can occur weeks or perhaps up to months after being profitable trading such a strategy, and will take a while and several trades to make it all back or keep a profitable track record. It is important to have a stop loss, trailing stop, or some sort of stop plan with these types of strategies. For this one, in addition to exiting the trade when price reverts to the middle band, I included a time-based stop plan that exits with a gain or with a loss to avoid potentially large losses, and to exit after only a few periods after taking the trade if in profit instead of waiting for the price to revert back to the mean.

RSI on VWAP Upgraded strategyFirst of all, the idea of apply RSI to VWAP was inspired by XaviZ; at least, that where I first saw that.
I simply applied the idea and searched for apply this on lower timeframe (M15) to increase the number of positions and improve the profit factor.
The conditions to enter are the same :
long : enter on RSI crossover oversold level
short : enter on RSI crossunder oversell level
To close position, I found a little change to apply :
long : close position when RSI(VWAP) went in overbought zone and crossunder the overbought level OR after being at least x bars in the overbought zone (parameter is 28 by default) => when the first condition happens
short : close position when RSI(VWAP) went in oversold zone and crossover the oversold level OR after being at least x bars in the oversell zone (parameter is 28 by default) => when the first condition happens
With this change, I got better results specially on BTCUSDTPERP (M15) where I reach a 6.8 profit factor with 119 trades closed. Not BAD !
The defaults parameters are the best found for BTCUSDTPERP (M15), but the strategy works fine for other pairs if you take time to find the rights combinations.
In this strategy you can change (with defaults in () ):
RSI length (28)
RSI overbought level (85)
RSI oversell level (30)
Number of bars before leaving as explain above (28)
The choice to take longs only, shorts only or both
The number of coin/token by position
The start date for backtesting
Please note that the script use a pyramiding parameter of 3 (can be changed in the first line of the script); that means that you can take up to 3 positions before closing. It lets you improve average enter price but increase the risk. 3 is the best I found to improve profit factor without expose myself too much.
This script would be better if automated because of the conditions of buy and sell.
It's only for educative purpose, not an advice to invest.

Catch the Big Fish - by SushilVolume based script to catch a big move. Works best on 5 min timeframe.
Long buy at high / Short sell at low of the candle where the script gives the signal.
Important note regarding SL - for Long / Short positions respectively, the SL should be placed at low / high of previous candle, and NOT of the same candle.
Golden Triangle StrategyGolden Triangle strategy setup is a variation of the buy-the-dip strategy, by Charlotte Hudgin.
You can find the detailed explanation here by Thomas N. Bulkowski thepatternsite.com
BUY
===
1. price should be trading above sma50
2. when it touches sma50 first time , check the starting rallypoint of where it initiated
3. from the above point to current close , see if you have white space , then draw the triangle
4. then check for volume confirmation ( current volume should be greater than last 4 ) --- I have slightly changed this to fit into hourly strategy by adding condition close>vwap
EXIT
====
1. Exit when close crossing down sma50 with at least 2% profit (slightly modified original condition)
StopLoss

TC Chart Score StrategyThis is My Call Confidence Strategy
The Strategy is designed to help confirm a bullish reversal after a downtrend.
This uses custom weighted algorithm
The Algorithm combines directional movement, volume over average, and moving averages to formulate a score.
The score is then used in conjunction with a smoothed score of the same criteria to initiate a buy signal on a cross over.
The settings are designed to help you customize how you weight directional movement, and the moving averages to further finetune the algorithm to your timelines.
The default settings are designed to be used on a 1 hour time frame.
You can change the settings for other time frames to further increase effectiveness.
This script will be updated as needed if a better algorithm is designed.
