I am very proud to present my 'Momentum Detector'.
It uses
to detect breakouts or breakdowns and strength of trend and continuation.
I have now been back-testing it on the BTC/USD daily and 6h charts and can say that I am more than impressed with the results:
The only real 'loser' would have been the long entry (white candle) on 2018-11-06, but with the associated exit strategy this trade would have been closed at candle close on Nov 8 with a small loss of 0.7%.
The other less ideal entry would have been a short on 2019-01-13 (blue candle). However, this one would still have been closed profitably on Jan 30 with ~3% gains.
On the other hand the indicator would have you
Both would have been absolutely phenomenal trades!
I am now working on a visual integration of the trade exit signals and risk management / position sizing.
My plan is to provide the complete tool as a proprietary indicator in the very near future.
