My prediction is that Bitcoin will continue to fall for another year. We may start to see a bottom form in mid to late-2019; however, I am not counting out a possible bottom in 2020. That’s right, I believe this bear market can continue for another year. It doesn’t matter what you think the price should be; it only matters what the institutional traders want. This bear market is a swing trader and short-seller paradise. As long as smart money can continue to profit off the optimism of dumb money (or what’s left of it), smart money will continue to push the price down.
Only after dumb money has completely given up all hope will smart money start to accumulate large positions, thus initiating the next bull market. I predict the next bull market will happen sometime in 2020 or 2021 and will last for 3 to 4 years with Bitcoin surpassing $100,000. Great rewards come to those who are patient.
