It is very hard to say if the Bitcoin will start an uptrend now, but it's better be prepared because everybody know how fast can cryptocurrencies grow (or fall :( ).
Anyways, if we look at the above daily chart of BTCUSD from a technical point of view, it looks like we are finishing the downtrend and entering sideways movement. You can easily spot it by looking at lows and highs. Bitcoin was making lower lows and lower highs until 01-04-2018 where it failed to make a lower low. Right now, Bitcoin seems to make a higher low, which would mean that an uptrend is most likely coming. We will be able to say that after few days.
To be able to say that the Bitcoin started un uptrend, we need to see a higher high and that will happen after price breaks through last lower high (pink line on the chart above).
So right now, I would stay away from Bitcoin to see which way we will go in the near future.
