Let's see if John McAfee is right! Doing a weekly wave count on a log scale looks to me like our big push to $20,000 was a wave 1, and hopefully we've just finished wave 2. Both waves 1 and 2 are boxed in yellow from last year and way back in the early 2010's.
I've estimated the growth in percentage of waves using the past waves 2-3 (~1,800%), waves 3-4 (~-70%) and wave 4-5 (~1,500%). That would take BTC to ~$1,300,000 by about November 2020.
As our historic wave 1-2 is four times shorter than our last wave 1-2, I scaled our new potential waves 3, 4 and 5 by a factor of four to get a rough timeline. Is John McAfee's 'you know what' safe after all?
