Not buying it this time

Recently we've seen a few similar small leaps from BTC, and they all end badly

Nice quick upswing, bit of ranging, second pump then a painful drop

I'm holding a few shorts, mostly a little underwater now but I'm expecting a quick reversion back into the 7.7-8.5k range which has bounded the price recently

Well so far we are continuing to bounce off this upper trend line around 8.5k, I'm not convinced we're going to break out but am ready to switch positions and take out a long once i see a convincing spike over the 8.5 line but I think the next resistance is around 8.8k so I'll be cautious since we could reject off that pretty quickly

Still holding my shorts between 8.2-8.4 and expecting a decent chance they'll see profit if we take a bounce
I've set take profits at breakeven for half and am holding the rest open ended
