This Indian Stock Ticker FSL has constructed a textbook pattern for uptrend with a trending move, a perfect consolidation and then again a trending move.
The investors would sit with the company for the trending move and the consolidation. However, the Swing traders would only sit for the trending move and exit the consolidation. They will invest their money in trending moves for other stocks during the consolidation period.
Let me tell you that its not easy to do this kind of trading. It is much more comfortable to just sit in one stock for the lifetime and relax but if someone wants to generate alpha then they have to take extra efforts in learning and judging the trend to make informed decisions.
