The value of valuable metals declined as both the dollar and US government bond yields increased at the same time.
There is an anticipation in the market that Mr. Powell will provide some indication that the US Central Bank has concluded its most aggressive tightening policy in four decades and is now preparing to reduce it. Experts suggest that only then can gold surpass its current levels and experience a breakthrough.
Currently, gold remains firmly aligned with a downward trend, therefore selling strategies that follow this trend will continue to be given priority.
