IBM Dividend Strategy

I know people installing IBM Watson computers so I fundamentally have wanted to invest in IBM for a while now. Is now the time? Their AI is getting better at an exponential rate. The dividend yield is pretty good at 5.46. So I am looking to buy and hold indefinitely, with a lax stop loss.
